I really thought that loving God was a feeling, that i really have to love God, but if i really didn't have a loving feeling for God, am i sining? Then i asked my Dad "daddy, what means to love God? Do i have to have a real feeling?" And then he said "No, loving God is following his rules, living through the spirit and knowledging Jesus, our lord like a hero, the one who saved us" so until today i want to be a great daughter to God and Jesus, i really want tips and healthy Christian habits for walking trough or with the spirit, can anyone teach me? What I do is bring God into everything, career, relationships, love whatever I am going through, I take it to the throne, I also meditate on what the cross means and how he counted me worthy to take that punishment so I will gladly give up anything and everything for him. I feel humbled and honoured daily to serve such a gracious awesome God. When I get instruction no matter if it makes sense to me or not I follow it. I'm a living sacrifice for our God and what ever he asks of me is done.
If you want to build intimacy with God follow a simple prayer
Dear heavenly father thank you, I love you, I honour you and I trust you. Then be open to instructions and know that discipline is one of the fruits of the spirit, when that voice comes to you that says don't silence it with disciplined obedience.

Man... do I really love God? I keep on falling back to the same sins, feeling bored easily by God's word, being drawn back in the world. Only reason why I hang on is out of fear of hell. I know I'm a loser. I know i'm not worthy of anything, I don't even think I'm capable of love. I'm not even sure why I haven't been smited yet. I just feel like a waste of space, God telling me he has all the great things for my life, God giving me all of these gifts, he's told me I'm meant for greater things, and yet I'm just... doing nothing. Treating him like nothing, being nothing.
What is wrong with me?
Keep going. Repent! Get in prayer and worship consistently! Read the word more!! You will get it eventually!!

Well, this is what I’ve been meditating on these few last days. My personal opinion: Be careful not to be fulfilling all of God's commandments based only on "obeying" Him; that is NOT love, that is "obligation". Obey God because you love Him, not because you're afraid of punishment or losing your blessings.; that’s not love. Love is the key. Read 1 Corinthians 13. You can keep all the commandments, but if you just do it for the sake of doing it and not out of love, it is useless. Not for nothing the FIRST COMMANDMENT in the Bible is: "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.” (Deuteronomio 6:5). So, do you really love God? Being obedient doesn’t mean you love Him, it could mean you’re after something or afraid of punishment. Meditate on that. Don’t be a robot Christian.

The devils really uses the second one to try to sabotage the image we have of God and it really can have a huge impact in our relationship with Him (and not for the better). The *Fear of God* is a concept rooted in reverence and respect, which reflects a spiritual understanding that embraces God’s omnipotence and righteousness. In contrast, *being afraid of God* suggests a negative fear, characterized by anxiety and dread of punishment (God doesn’t want that). God bless you.

I need to change my mindset the way I think
I needed this video. Legit, after I saw this video, I realized I may not love God like I thought I did. Sure I started to want to read the Bible again (and have started doing so) but I still keep falling into sin. I just prayed for forgiveness and finally repented surrendered to Him. Please pray that God will give me a genuine love for Him and that me reading His Word will come from wanting to know Him and grow us closer and that I will overcome my flesh. If God can forgive me, then there's still hope that He can save me from my flesh just like He saved me when I accepted Him into my life. Thank you and thank you Chris for uploading this. I always struggle with the loving and having faith I was always heard these word growing up never knew what they mean and just said yeah I love God but then go and do whatever even got baptized not knowing the significance of that and I still kind of struggle with it in my middle school years I feel really distant from God and would do nothing but what I wanted and it got to a point where I was seeing things at night and would talk to them I don’t see them anymore but I’m still trying to recover and come back from all that as I have quite literally have trouble feeling love and compassion I really should start trying to do something I have no idea where to start but I’ll try to do something on a search to feel feelings

Anyone who takes this leap of faith and gives themselves to Jesus is setting themselves up for an amazing, wonderful, and unbelievable life!
The road will not be easy just because you accepted Jesus into your heart and repented. However, you wont be going through anything by yourself anymore. You literally have the "i win" card on your person at all times because nothing and no one can stop what God is doing in your life. The enemy will try to break you more than ever because that's his goal. Keep your eyes focused on the Jesus and he will have you back through everything.
Lastly, James 4:7 says "submit yourselves, then to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you." KJV This verse is useful to help you along your journey with Christ. I pray that this message encourages whomever is reading it.
