Honestly the best method i've found in controlling your mind is just rebuking the thought in the name of Christ. Seems so simple yet there is power in his name. Tip : No matter how little the thought is rebuke it, it all builds even if u dont realize it.

10 years. I'm 16 and have been struggling with a porn addiction for a decade now. First video I saw of yours was the “God is warning you” video what you said in the video was almost my exact situation. I ignored it but I know the more I ignore God’s warning it's only gonna get worse and he is coming back soon. This is gonna be one of the hardest things I'm gonna have to do. Today March 25 2024 is when I stop.

Y’all I’ve had that same addiction that y’all are talking about since I was 8 now I’m getting like if I see I’m reporting it
No my sugar addiction is good now most days
Now my phone that’s different see I am person that needs to be busy or else I’ll be on my phone for like 4 hrs
And in the last 6 years of when I started it in 2018
In 2019 I got my appendix removed
And 2021-present ive gotten ingrown toenails and Acene
And yall my toenail problems they keep coming back it’s like what could be possibly toenail cancer and it’s most likely from my addictions or because I’m a athlete
And even thought it’s kind of late but the next 9 months will be known as the improvement for a better future of my life’s health and education
And yall my grades are worse cause of my addictions not really my sugar one but that one should count like the other 2 in my life
I mean my grandpa did die in may 2017
But nothing bad or sad will get in the way of my life
Just going to say this when someone you should miss them and rememeber who they are
With out my grandpa I probably wouldn’t half of who I would want to be when I grow up
And also last year in may i joined the bowling team and about 2 months i get my first bowling certificate
We should be like the Avengers when they lost against Thanos in Infinity war and then beat him in Endgame
In case you didn’t notice I only care about what actually Christian friends/family and other Christians say about me
I don’t care about what a bully thinks about me you know why cause I didn’t ask
And also I only care about what good people say about me

When I was leaving the Navy, I asked a Doctor aboard my ship the best way to quit smoking; because I truly wanted to stop!
He told me plain,
First, STOP buying them! Don't keep them around, and don't think about them.
Second, every time you get a craving (it for the nicotine) drink as much water as you can.
Yes, you're going to pee a lot! You're also flushing out the nicotine still in your body!
Yes, your cravings will increase, as your body tries to replace what it's losing!
Again, drink more water! Keep flushing out your system!
You will turn a corner in 2-3 weeks, and the cravings will steadily lessen, then disappear entirely.
Be prepared for a rough month! Take it day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, if it comes to that. Keep a full glass of ice water in reach all the time. Put some lemon or lime juice in it, if you need flavor, but _NO sugar!!!_
This worked for me. That first three weeks, I was like an angry bear! But it passed. Be honest with the people around you; tell them you're quitting, so they need to understand why you're irritable.
About a year after I quit, a very bad day at work had me stopping on the way home, buying smokes, and lighting up. You would have thought I drank poison by my body's reaction! I was two or three drags into the first one, and had to pull over to throw up! By the time I got home, it was WORSE! Let's just use today's slang, and say I "blew up the bathroom" 🤦.
I was physically sick for two days, even after I showered! I've never wanted another cigarette since!
To put this in perspective, I got out of the Navy in 1989!!! That last cigarette was in August of 1990! I haven't had another since, nor can I be near them without being sick.

The problem is that I don't have any roots to deal with. The past haunts me, resulting strong temptations, that I cannot resist for long. But like you said, I just need to change my heart.

The sin that i keep like going back to is slothfulness i think like I'll get lazy and wont read my bible or pray to God but I've only once struggled with porn/hentai and i immediately stopped when i felt very convicted to and i never watched that again but slothfuness and maybe like wrath or something gotta be the biggest sins i need to stop the cycle on anyways thanks for the video :) Amen✝️
I just fell 3 times today after a good half a month of not falling, I want to be free and not worry that I will sin again, I like drawing but I've been putting it off to do this sin and I just have a lot of things going on or I seem to have a lot of things going on and I don't know what to do but this video helped a ton! This hit me at the right time. God has put me in isolation so I have consecrated myself for Him. Set myself apart for His will. The thought of quitting smoke for good even a week ago was not possible but it’s crazy how God can complete turn our hearts toward him. Tearing up a little bit writing this lol cause i understand how hard it is in your own strength. Everything you’ve said here is absolutely true. Let God change your heart and do it in His strength. Let him bring you low so he can bring you high. And a high that will last my friends. Not a fleeting high that’s keeping you from fulfilling your potential in Christ. Just bring it to God 💛🔥

Does it stress u out knowing that that is the root cause? It sounds like u do. I needed to cut a friend off last week because it is related to my porn addiction but I didn’t feel like I could. It stressed me out. I needed to just let go of that friend, I did and I feel much better a lot less stressed.

Great word. In the deeper levels of addiction it really feels like the only way out is Jesus, because I simply do not possess the power myself to let go when urges hit. I made it through the worst of it calling out to God and telling him I don't want it, and that I'm done with it.. I was angry but like you said, when you mean it and open that connection with the creator he sees your struggle and comes to your aid.. the urges went away immediately.
Now I'm back where I started, because I stopped reading the bible, have become distracted etc.. it's like God is your crutch, and you forget you need him and suddenly you're back on your ass because you have a serious wounded soul that needs that constant support early on in your walk out of addiction.

Things I have been struggling with for a few years… God revealed to me tonight what I was doing wrong. I was prideful and believed I could fight these things on my own, and I would fail every time. I realized tonight that I cannot fight these things alone, I must turn away and ask god for help before I try to fight these temptations.

Praying bro, ik how it is. I was stuck with it literally my whole life, introduced to it here and there from 1 to 10 years old- then it went to everyday from there, and I am 18 now
I'll tell you a few things that help me, find an accountability partner, someone you can trust, and maybe God will tell you, bc He told me who to go to and ask for help, and I've never been so grateful for a brother. But yea, get an accountability/prayer partner, not to just tell them what's going on and everything, but to have someone be there for you and celebrate your wins and pray for you and encourage you in your lows
And make sure they aren't the only ones reaching out, make sure that you reach out to them first too, bc it gets tiring when your the one doing all the work to reach out, so make sure to text them first here and there too
And make sure to be honest with them if you fall or are having trouble, if they are someone you trust and is a true person of God, they won't shame you or look at you differently
And 2 make sure your never alone to long, bc when your alone your flesh begins to rise up, so make your your never alone to long, especially with your divices
