I lost my Dad a few days ago after a long decline with a chronic illness, It has been so hard recently and the last few years. And when he died it messed me up a-lot, I knew when it was going to happen but it didn’t make it sting any less. And it’s really gotten me to largely neglect my relationship with God and others. I know I shouldn’t be alone right now, at the very least I shouldn’t be away from the Lord but I feel so lost. Like a tumbleweed in a desert, endlessly drifting through a a barren wasteland. I’m trying to revive my faith but I quickly get distracted these days because grief makes the Mind fickle. So all I ask is that you pray for me Brethren and I ask the Lord to please be patient with me. And maybe one day my testimony can be that like of Job’s, to know and teach others how to praise the Lord despite immense suffering. “The Lord gives, And the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.” The Lord bless you and keep you all brethren ✝️.
You may not want to know this right now. But sickness is of our own Sins. This is not God's Fault,
It is human nature to want to blame someone or God. However God has a plan and even though people in our lives move on. The fact that we still wake up every day means That God is not done with us. He still has a purpose for us and he is waiting for us to do his Will.
I know you're mad right now, But think of this and this is what gets me through my sad and mad times. Our wants and our own purpose in life is nowhere near as Important as God's Will.
God sees us, Our past, Present and Future all at the same time. Our desires no matter if it's people, money, Lust, or whatever it may be is not Greater than God's Will. I know it's hard to let go and I have been there. I know.
Let me tell you this It was a lot easier for me to let go of my Grandfather, (The only person that cared about me in my life). With God's Help. I Pray this helps you My Friend.
Focus on God, Give your worries to him. and He will see you through this. A Prayer is sent for you. Now it's your turn.
Pray and ask to receive his Blessings in your life. For the ability to move on from this. For the courage to stand up, for the strength to move forward in God's Will, and The Wisdom to understand.

I had a really tragic loss last year and what helped me get through was talking to my family & reaching out to fellow believers, which helped tremendously. I would try to reach out, however much you are comfortable with. And if you can try to create some stability in your life with some kind of routine.

I've been trying to spend time with God in the library to read and study in the morning to afternoon. I don't know if that counts, but I'm certainly trying.

First God created Humans and we sinned against him and since God is right and just he can't let sin go unpunished and we deserve so he sent his son to die for all our sins and take our help punishment for us and if you trust that the only reason you go to heaven u will be saved. By faith u are saved not of works Ephesians 2:8-9 that being said tho that doesn't mean go sinning like crazy cuz u know ur going to heaven u should still try to live for the Lord. But let me be clear the only reason we are going to heaven is because of what Jesus did for us that alone saved us so trust in him

@@CrpraHey, I just realized I have an eating disorder and I play football, although god has a plan for me though and I’m willing to take advantage of it, pray for me so it doesn’t repeatedly become a cycle anymore

I take time to put things aside to spend time with God by turning distractions off and pray 🙏 and get in the lords word everyday and I confess my sins and ask for repentance every day cause I do not want to sin at all and I hope that counts but i am trying thank you for lords word God bless u and thank you for the word Chris !

When i had to poop SO HARD, and when the bathroom was locked, my stomach felt so bad. I knew it was the devil that was trynna pull me away and use my sensitive body to forget about God, but i said "Nah, i'd win" and said the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.. andd then i emptied my bowels.

Can I forgive someone without them asking for forgiveness?
Yes just don’t hold onto the grudge don’t be mad at them forever just forgive them it is that simple
Pray for them, you can. Don't hold their mistakes into your heart, but be happy that it happened and you're getting closer to God by forgiving from your heart.
You said in the intentions part to read the bible without the intention to just get to know him more so what are better intentions to reading the bible instead of trying to just get to know him more?
And "take up your own cross" means to not do what you desire for god. But why is it not useless because Christianity is religion of the heart so if you wanna do that and you desire to then in your heart you already commited that Sin. So why isn't it not useless?
