Thanks for the kit. I went a step further and added an American Defense AD-ARCA-TP-TAC Black QD ARCA to Picatinny Adapter which costs about $75 or $80 depending where you buy. After I bought the BOG Infinite, your kit and the American Defense mount, I have about $720 in it. Not bad if you already have a BOG Infinite Carbon fiber, but if I had known about the FATBOY Elevate and Levitate inverted ball head, I think I would have spent the extra $325.00 for it. If you guys come out with a longer bushing, bolt and a hook to use as downward force for the free hand, I'd be interested in the upgrade.
I’m going to buy either the standard deathgrip of the infinite deathgrip. Either way I’m going to replace the head with your ball mount. Would you recommend going with the standard deathgrip or the infinite? I have know way to handle them in person before ordering one. Thanks
Great video. I have the same Deathgrip and almost missed a deer because of the time spent and noise made trying to get the legs level on uneven ground. A ball head would have made it much easier and quicker to prepare for a shot.
I'm new to tripods and got the Deathgrip infinite as my first one. I've quickly found that the stock ball head can't really support the weight of a bag with a rifle on it, and me leaning into it.... I just can't crank down on the adjustment knob hard enough to make it stay in place. It is strongly hinted at, but I just want to confirm, the actual ball assembly on this one is more robust and can take more weight and hold in place? I don't have any ergonomic problems with the stock design; just looking for a more robust ball joint. Thanks
I can't say if it will hold for you or not. If you put enough weight and leverage on any ball mount, it will move. I can tell you that ours is more robust than the factory ball joint. But it's not really designed for heavy competition use. It's more so geared towards hunters.
I purchased the BOG Deathgrip infinite Carbon fiber tripod. I tried using a 5/16 Allen socket which fit perfectly. As I turned my ratchet, the hook on the bottom turned with the ratchet. I put some Kroil penetrating oil in, let it sit for a while. I tried again, but rigged a socket extension through the hook and turned the ratchet. Well the hook busted off. And the Allen head just spins with the nubbin of the hook. Any suggestions?
We had dozens of people call and REQUEST that we make a kit for the Infinite Tripod because the factory ball head design sucks. After 50+ phone calls, we decided to make a kit for it. Everyone who has purchased the kit, tells us that it works much better now.

Thank you for the feedback, Shane. We have been discussing different upgrades to add to the product line. Nothing confirmed yet.

You have no idea. Once you use our ball head, you'll be pissed that you ever shot without it.
Wish i saw this video about 2 weeks ago. I had the Boghunt Deathgrip Infinite and tried to get the ball mount loose.
She's kind of a bear to take apart. It doesn't fall apart like the regular Deathgrip.
I have the kit for the bog death grip and it is great
Glad you like it Dane, you're not alone!
You bet. Thinking about trying your trimming tool. You have a quick way to debir too?
The trimmer doesn't leave a burr, but you should still chamfer the inside.

Did you get anywhere on this? Sorry it took so long to get back to you.
@@LittleCrowGunworks yep, I took a hack saw and cut off the stem below the ball. Your part fits like a glove to the bottom of the Deathgrip.
@paulbunion1244 Good deal. I'm glad you gotten figured out. Enjoy your new and IMPROVED tripod!
Thank you for your support.
Seems well made by Bog ......
If it was, people wouldn't be calling us to tell us to make a kit for it.
where to purchase
www.littlecrowgunworks.com/store1/BOG-INFINITE-Ball-Mount-Adapter-Kit-p628413015
why spend the extra the one that comes on it is fine i can buy another for just the cost of that head unit.
don't see what makes it any better
