Thanks a lot, maybe one day! Good things come with patience. I guess one of the reasons is that I am not as aggressive as other creators to gain more subscribers and I post exclusively to UA-cam, no other platforms. But I know that 41k is genuine, wonderful and supportive. For me that is priceless 👍
Satisfying. I'm nearly lost for words. The peacefulness of the manually powered machines, combined with the sheer beauty of the finished product, makes for a truly harmonious experience for the privileged viewer. Thank you for sharing this with us.

I stumbled by chance upon this video. You have got me hook, line and sinker. I love how you use vintage material and how you bring old items back to life! Please keep up the good work! Best wishes! (edit) oh, and I subscribed of course!
You give new life not only to the items you restore but also to the old, beautiful hand tools you use. Always watch your work with pleasure. Thank you!
never fails to amaze me how you started out in that closet sized room with a handful of basic tools to living your best life an bringing old things back to their best life. 🫵🏼 Boris my friend across the world are soooo talented and amazing!! awesome job as always buddy. loved the leather folder/dryer thingy. super cool.
When you combine love and passion for something there are no limits I believe. Hitting obstacles along the way didn't discourage me, it made me even more persistent to find a way to overcome them and reach the goal. But that strength comes from individuals like you, who believed in me and supported my channel from the very beginning. Without you friend and many others this channel would not survive this long. Thank you for being there for me for so long. From bottom of my heart I am grateful for that! Stay safe and thank you for waiting patiently for my new videos!
well boris your talent an passion and love for what you do shows and that my friend makes you exceptional. i love watching your channel grow. it’s like supporting family across the world 😉 i believe in supporting others and being happy in their success.
Dude your skills are awesome. That’s a genius idea of using wood as the form when wet molding. Making one later today. And I DEFINITELY need more corduroy in my work gear. All around great!
Wow! That's not just any knife you restored. It's traditional finnish knife puuko. You have rare gem being both traditional knife and of high quality. Nice find! Also you don't use power or modern tools because you love challenge every restoration brings and for you sense of achievement that comes after is greater when you do this by hand you also test your skills every time.
Ну что тут сказать!? Красота, пусть и немного заржавевшая, умеет вдохновлять на незабываемое! И заставляет создавать новую красоту. Еще более незабываемую!В общем, как говорила одна очень известная актриса - Красота - это страшная сила! 🙂
Great video bud keep'em coming. Wishing you and yours the best. It's taking a lil to watch all you videos but I'm enjoying every one. Stay safe and be well brother. 👊😎🤙🍻🇺🇲
I have to say, my favorite part of the video was the saunter test at the end. How convenient is it to draw, use, and replace smoothly while moving about the shop? Find out with a saunter test. Of course, picking any part of this video was a "favorite" is like picking what day of the week has my favorite version of the sun in the sky. It was all beautiful, thank you.
Excellent choice handle materials. Regarding the curly silver birch, the specie/type is an obvious choice but the particular selection was used exceptionally well as the perfect adornment of the overall piece ... What a beaut!
@@FFD_Restorations thank you mate sharing the bigger picture. That's what makes it more art than simple craft. P. S. Me too (#meetoo) love to see your firstly restored tools still doing the show. P. P. S. I still have a bad feeling about the singer sawing machine ;-)

Very good and climatic restoration! Also, beautifull knife. 2 advices- 13:42 always hammer the end when blade is in the vise, its very easy to break or bend tip of the blade the way you do it. Happened to me once or twice ;) Its also good to use wood inside for sheath, it makes it more durable.
Very nice restore on the blade and the new handle. I really can appreciate your shop and tools that you have. Some of the tools I've seen before and some I haven't.
seriously nice piece of work there, love that wood for the handle, great choice, treadle lathe looks an awesome addition to your workshop that will be very useful, and for a first time doing something with it and a first time making a wet form shows you have been doing a lot of learning to expand your skill level so much the last months, keep on keeping on doing this as you have found your place in the world

Congratulations, a good video is not even about restoration, but about historical reconstruction. Excellent set of pedal machines in good condition. The only thing is that the vise on the table somehow stands out from the general background. But otherwise, including the suit, in my humble opinion, everything is fine.
Восстановление таких вещей достойно уважения. Но ещё нравится и твой стиль. Не знаю как там в "Норвешскоj" с поиском одежды 50-х, но мыслю, что это везде нелегко. Респект.
I want to see the industrial revolution of your shop! One motor, and 15 axles and 50 belts swirling everywhere. My great grandfather had a blacksmith shop with 1 motor powering several things (drill press, lathe, grindstone, and a few belts going to things removed before my time). Im in Eidsvoll if you want to have a look.
That would be a drastic change 😅. I am familiar with the similar setup where the water is powering many machines through belts. Both systems are simple but yet quite complicated for one person to make it happen in a very limited time after work and hobby budget. From video production perspective sound would be a real challenge to record since the both systems are quite loud. Uansett, jeg setter stor pris på ditt forslag og tusen takk for invitasjonen! God påske!
