Man, I missed the front engined Corvettes at LeMan, the C.5-R, C.6-R and C.7-Rs performed legendary exhibition in durability, dominance and consistency.
@ntl9974 the center of gravity is extremely low due to the OHV LT engines not carrying a lot of mass up top with overhead cams. The car is also front-midengined with a rear transaxle pushing about 51% of the weight on the rear. Couple that with tons of torque to accelerate out of the apexes faster than other more powerful cars and you have a recipe for success.
@@greydazeplays there was a "Corvette" prototype in the Daytona Prototype class years ago and they do both come from GM but the spotlight is on Cadillac now. At least in the top class. Corvettes race in the LMGT3 class at Le Mans, not Hypercar.
I miss the Ford GT. I only saw the highlights. It might worth watching the whole race. Love GT cars. So much more relatable even though not much of the street car left. Lol

I mean, most of the pro driver were in GT cars... now all those pro equip are on LMH, and GT have worst drivers
It’s made it kind of unwatchable tbh. The LMH are cool I guess but nobody is going out to pick one up anytime soon
