These are some very cute outfits! In regards to the lolita looks, I wouldn’t be worried about the community. There’s some drama in places like rufflechat, but mostly people just want to help you improve and get your best outfits! One improvement that most people in the lolita community would point out is that the dresses/jsks are made to be worn with a petticoat, and to achieve the traditional lolita silhouette I would recommend using a petticoat or a crinoline/hoop skirt to give poof to the skirt part of the dress. (If you’re not planning on wearing lolita often I would recommend a hoop skirt/crinoline because petticoats with a good shelf life that will give you the best amount of poof to the skirt can be around ¥10,000, and cheaper ones tend to deflate quickly and not fill out the skirt properly, so for occasional lolita crinolines/hoop skirts can be more cost effective). Overall in terms of the lolita looks you definitely have the general basics down. With the jsk on day 2 your blouse was good and kept to the idea of this being a modest fashion, and both lolita outfits included headwear which is usually recommended to help balance out the poof of the skirt. Of course there are things that could be improved, but there is always room for improvement and I think you did well!
Ahhh I love the 2nd last look more Lolita and the high waisted shorts and t-shirt look on you! You’ve really inspired me to be a bit more adventurous with my styles, sometimes I want to wear more typical vintage style, and other times a more modern/vintage with shorter skirts... but I’ve always felt like I need to stick with a ‘look’.. but why?
