We are encouraged to reason together, many take advantage by taking advantage of by choosing to be unreasonable !

The last point was me, so I instantly go back to doubting myself: am I a narcisist? Even though everyone in my support network tells me I'm not. I'm a special education teacher and one of my old colleagues told me I could never be a narcisist as I have the ability to self reflect. I know I have severe childhood trauma and have developed co-dependency which I'm now trying to heal from. My ex keeps accusing me of being a narcisist and at first it hurt like hell, untill I saw the projection 😂

The first part is happening to me. I keep going back seeking humanity and a rational discussion but it ends with me laying out my faults and nothing from him. He has no ability or self reflection at all.

I’ve ran into this with my sister in-law. Definitely toxic, definitely narcissistic.

My husband (with NPD) manipulated me from spending time with my family. They live within 20min and I saw them only a handful of times over the past few years. The manipulation tactic he used was that I need to leave and cleave. He even tried to use this tactic with our couples counselor. About 2 months ago he abandoned me after I came back from a business trip. He just left the house, ghosted me for a month before I got served divorce papers. He did me a favor doing this in hindsight now that I see who he really is. Radical acceptance of who he is and how disgusting the way he treated me has helped get me through.
He blessed me with C-PTSD and anxiety attacks. We are still very early in the divorce process. NO CONTACT with him, his parents, or anyone else that could be a flying monkey. Even with radical acceptance I still have moments where I break down and cry or have an anxiety attack. That will happen, but it gets less severe over time. Videos like this and others on the topic help keep me on track down my tunnel, but I am getting closer to the light! Thank you for the content!

My husband doesn’t throw much on my face as he really doesn’t do much with me, but he will say things like you are nice when you want something. It’s not because I want too much. It’s because maybe I asked him to help me to lift something or to do something to help me with a house item, etc..
