    My go-to is usually this:
    Reflect > Manip > Waste Not > Innovation > Preparatory Touch x2-4 > Innovation > Trained Finesse x1-2 (if needed) > Great Strides > Byregot's
    IMO, using Preparatory Touch if possible is much more time-efficient and provides a better Byregot's, especially when crafting large quantities of items (i.e. when you're crafting the new DoH gear set for yourself or the MB, or a large number of collectibles to turn in), so I tend to use that over Prudent Touch. Though your approach is equally valid as well; as long as you get to that 100% it doesn't matter what actions you use at the end of the day.
    Also, once you do master this basic rotation and want to macro it, you can sort-of add "conditionals" to the macro. For example, these two lines:
    /ac "Precise Touch"
    /ac "Prudent Touch"
    will cause the macro to execute Precise Touch if the condition is Good, and will execute Prudent Touch otherwise.

    despite not being a total crafting noob, i was always searching for a good starting point for new crafts, especially repetitive stuff like deliveries or role quests where you don't need the top of the line gear and rotations but still sometimes gotta pay attention to it. This works wonders and I will definitely
    make an effort to learn it and adapt it to the situation!! thanks a lot.

    Every time I watch your videos, I learn something. Your crafting guide to maximizing gil with retainers made huge improvements to my return compared to market flipping. I exclusively craft for profit now and still found this video very useful. Thank you!

    Huh... This is much better CP economics than my rotation.
    I just spam most of the buffs at the beginning and brute force my way through (with adjustments for "Good and "Excellent" conditions ofc).
    Thx for this.

    you can still use groundwork on 40 durability crafts. instead of using manipulation you can switch to waste not or waste not 2 and half the durability of groundwork.
    vice versely instead of using prudent touch you can halve the steps by using waste not/manipulation and preparatory touch which will give 2 inner quiet stacks instead of 1 per step at 10 durability + 5 refunded after every step

      You can also use Waste Not in tandem with Manipulation to cause the 20 durability actions to effectively cost only 5 durability

    Groundwork without issues, more quality, 540CP and most importantly 15 steps so it fits into a single macro.
    Works for 40s as well.

      Would you typically not do manipulation before waste not II to gain 5 durability from the buff instead of wasting a waste not II buff? Not typically and issue but it's just good practice.

  • @AeosLoire
    @AeosLoire Місяць тому +2

    When I get home I'll have to plug this into a calculator and compare it to my own in terms of steps, reliability, and CP usage. It's very similar to what I do but I think it can be much more efficient in number of buttons pushed. Ofc it'll still come down to what you are making and what stats you have. Will update in awhile.

    0:45 ground rules: undergeared crafting and gathering is horrible for sure and you need to avoid that like a plague
    as you said in the other vid crafters and gatherers work in synergies, so you could help yourself with the gear; the problem is you will have to maintain other DoH/DOL jobs as well and this synergy business is a science on its own :)
    what you can do instead: tinker with collectables and custom deliveries and then throw the scrips at your favourite scrip exchange assistant for tools and gear.
    any crafter is able to collect scrips for geat for itself AND any other crafter this way and the gatherers can help themselves the same; the scrip exchange stocks its shelves at lvl50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100.

  • @Deathsher0

    Question good sir. At the Durability part. I don't get the using Manipulation with Veneration part and then Groundwork. I don't gain any durability back when I use this method. Ty!

    • @Manchild_Gaming
      @Manchild_Gaming  Місяць тому

      You don’t gain any but you only lose 15 instead of 20 if that makes sense. You can also use waste not 2 if you prefer

    • @Manchild_Gaming

      Maybe it's just the way my little brain works but I have this fear of accidently completing the item early.

    • @Nenacu

      @@Manchild_Gaming understandable! But also not something that a test craft beforehand or an application of final appraisal can't solve. Progress values are static, so I like to get those dialed in to the point where a single hit of progress will finish, then work towards quality after.

    • @Ratoncitow
      @Ratoncitow Місяць тому +1

    What stats should I have at level 90 to be able to do that

    • @Manchild_Gaming
      @Manchild_Gaming  26 днів тому

      If you have "decent gear" like if your level 90 and you have all level 90 gear, no pentamelds needed etc etc you shouldnt have a problem. I dont know the exact stats, but usually "ok" gear will get you through almost anything.

      @Manchild_Gaming  Місяць тому

      Interesting I personally wouldn't use it but I don't really think it's bad someone else is using it.
      It made me ask myself would I do the same thing for a dps rotation and it's a big he'll no.
      Crafting is slower and much more repetitive though so I get it

  • @-KK-
    @-KK- Місяць тому

    why not just use craftingway? It gives you the rotation to complete the craft and you can adjust it manually to shorten or to make it better.

    • @Manchild_Gaming
      @Manchild_Gaming  Місяць тому

      For something complex I could see that as an option. But in general I might not wanna type in all the stats and stuff for every recipe.

  • @AmallieGames
    @AmallieGames Місяць тому

    What is the benefit of manipulation vs waste not 2?

    • @Manchild_Gaming
      @Manchild_Gaming  Місяць тому +5

      Good question. Manipulation returns 5 durability after each action while Waste not 1 and 2 will reduce action durability cost by 1/2.
      Manipulation can be used with prudent touch while waste not cannot (due to waste not restrictions)
      But Waste not is actually better for actions like groundwork that cost 20 durability. With waste not itll reduce it to a 10 durability cost while manipulation just returns 5. I hope this helps.
