I love these track guides when guys say “then I slowly get back on the throttle” then skip ahead 2 frames and go WOT. You didn’t ease on the throttle you just paused mid full throttle lol
Very interesting and thorough review! Comparing to another, slightly faster track guide, he suggests to let off throttle 100% and really throws the car in almost sliding it, then suggests to get back on the throttle 100% with no feathering. I can see how his lap is faster for qualifying, but your lap is more reliable, will preserve tires better and carry less risk of track limit penalties. Thanks again for an awesome video!
Thats really interesting. Was it the racing line? I was able to compare data using Garage61 and its pretty interesting the differences between our driving styles. I consistently carry more min speed through the corners but he is able to get on throttle a little earlier. Very different driving styles but in the end the lap times are super similar. (If I hadn't botched the final corner I would've had a 44.0 too) Thats why I love this car though, so many different ways to go fast! 🤙
Thank you for the guide. I've always found this track to be a little challenging to do fast. Racing in VR has also slowed me down but can never go back to screen..
Great lapguide...I kind of wish you would move the viewing camera up a bit as it appears now you can barely see over the wheel. I think most people, like myself, use a higher viewing angle to see more of the road.
Thanks for the feedback! I use this seating position because I like to be as close to reality as possible when I drive. But, thank you for drawing my attention to that. I'll look into raising my head height a little bit 🤙

Well, i just found your channel. As a fellow VR guy, i appreciate the braking markers that all work for me.
Thanks for covering this series.. I don't get much time to practice so the videos help. We will see what time I can do tomorrow
No problem mate 🤙

No problem! Yes VR probably is a tiny bit slower for me to but also 1000 times cooler haha I could never go back
