To think Ted quoted Murray before it was announced. RIP Murray, the voice of F1 for so long and made many fall in love. Sadly not old enough to remember but the old F1 races during the lockdown allowed me to experience what my father, grandfather and great grandfather got to watch.
They all quote him quite often, which is another way for them to honour and remember a friend and idol

A lot of people don’t like ted because of the waffle but I think he’s funny but also interesting. Also I’m sure drivers kinda like it that he doesn’t always ask the same questions as every other interviewer

First time? Cameraman always tends to roam around a bit on the notebook whenever Ted's walking around. Giving some extra shots of the paddock and what happens behind the scenes/pitlane.

The great thing about Ted is that it's like having any of your best friends interviewing folks. He explores. It's like a fishing expedition in semi-known waters. He just says things, and miraculously entertains. His very professional and sincere style just reeks of everyday fellow. So many funs! Did I mention entertaining!?!

Hearing the stories of people meeting Murray makes me wish I was able to meet him too and just chat about F1. Rest in peace Murray, there will never be anyone like you.

I met him once at a book signing. Was kinda crushed to be honest. He signed my book, and I asked him to make it out to me as I just get these things for memory. He looked away and was cold as ice. His assistant ushered us away. He was already old by then. Around 70, so I’ll chalk it up to probably still being jet lagged or just had a bad day.
Some family came with their kid called Murray, and told them he was named after him. His assistant ushered them away, without Murray interacting at all. So it wasn’t just me. He wasn’t really engaging with his fans.
I don’t know anyone else who had any interactions with him, so I have to guess I caught him on a bad day.
His commentary was second to none. I remember the excitement of reading all the F1 game previews on the first PlayStation, having Murray commentating in a game was magic for an F1 fan.
Ted is one of the best journalists in F1, I really enjoy his notebooks. Thank you Ted.

always love Horner's replies - he is just to good. Great at his job and funny with the replies to questions. But then he gives a really good reply without giving technical info. For PR at Redbull, he is perfect. Lets you in to the team, has fun, but tells you only what needed. Perfect person for the job. GG

In my own opinion I just think Ted is just fantastic so knowledgeable great to listen to and a true gentleman to everybody he speaks to I just hope he stays for a long time to come,and just a word about his cameraman he is just brilliant the way he just wanders around you can never split them up they are a great team just like the two Ronnie's you take one away it's not the same.i just love them credit to the sport long may it continue.
