Many thanks! Just fixed my radio on a Mazda MX-5 Miata. Checked all the wiring, looked for at least two hours, the radio fuse was OK. The problem wass the ROOM fuse. I appreciate the help!

2006 Mazda 6 3.0 Radio
I have the same issue on the Mazda 3 2020 version, I found the fuse, it's called illumination on my version. I switched it out with a new fuse but that didn't work. Any more ideas?

Same here. The tech took off the radio and unplugged it and plugged back and the radio turned on but when he screwed it on place it turned off again. He told me the radio has to be replaced. Honestly, I did not trust his diagnose. Where else can I check? Wiring?

Anyone found a fix for a constant thumping from the speakers, no music, starts when I put the key in and won't stop till the car disables power, or I pull the fuse, and it's a loud thumping

Very possible. That exact thing happened to me with my truck. Found 55 cents in there. Kept blowing the fuse.
What if the Sirius and then later the AUX buttons stop working. I was listening to them and then Sirius would not turn and a year or two later the AUX store after accidentally switching to AM/FM.
Replace the radio. It's fried.

If it's on a 2011 Mazda CX-9 sport try the mirror fuse under the glove Department that's what fix my radio
Where is the fuse on a mazda 2?
It's under the hood, if you're looking for the one that is for the radio, the interior light, and the door lock. It's a 15 amp, the one right at the bottom. It's not under the dash. Those are for other stuff. My lock, radio, and interior light stopped working and this was the fuse that fixed it.
I changed the fuse and there still ni power on the radio.
So my 2007 Mazda5, the radio comes on and beeps but it will not play any other sound/music.

Check all the fuses. There are lots under the hood, and more under the dash, usually to the left of the steering wheel.
