Well we've finally reached the end of NEXT. It's been a long (and painful) road. Kazumi is finally defeated and Z is up next. Here I thought Aichi was going back to the US, unless the episode takes place some time later and he came back. It looks as if Tokoha might stay in Japan to assist in the fight against Kazumi's master (I'm assuming that's the plot for Z based on the Wiki). My current thought is that she did go back to Paris, but came back after some sort of call, or she just stayed entirely. Either way that's great, mean's more possible Chonoha moments in the future. I'm seriously hoping Aichi isn't a huge main character in Z. I mean, I know he's the God of Vanguard but come on... but the next episode will give us an idea on Z, so we just have to wait one more week. 14:18, that soundtrack that was playing during Kazumi's turn was amazing! Well, I don't know why everyone is complaining about chrono winning. It's just like u know yugi is gonna win every single game he play in the yugioh series it's called main character power ffs. Question is how well did they plot the win, was it just one fussy boring one sided fight in which u feel like chrono is gonna win without even considering plot convinience or is it a close match? I say Bushi executed this part very well. Cause before the final stride I genuinely though chrono was gonna lose and we gonna get a plot twist.

From what's been revealed there seems to be both Thavas and Maelstorm support. Plus theres the new Z rares that are basically nation strides so clans in the same nation like Granblue, Aqua Force, and Bermuda all use the same nation stride and supposedly it's skill is gonna be like a mix between stuff from all the clans so maybe the Magallancia one is gonna be something like call X number of rear guards from the drop zone and give them a skill to restand and at the end of the turn return them to hand or something like that.

Kazumi will lose because of plot. It's the last episode and the main character has to win, they do that every season. However if Kazumi did get a heal trigger he wouldn't even need to stride since Chrono only has 1 card left in his deck. He could just end his turn and force Chrono to deck out.
Im guessing since he has only 3 cards in his deck he will lose since he has no deck hahaha. Just a thery tho, that might actually be cool since in the whole series of vanguard no one has ever loat because of having no deck hahahaha
If you listened carefully, there's an electric guitar mixed in, giving Verno's theme a bit of a darker edge, and supporting Kazumi's already dark theme.
