- Decided to head back up to the lake for one more try to see if the fishing would improve. Fishing was still pretty slow, but I did end up catching a few. The one at the end will be a mystery for sure. I would estimate it at 5 or so pounds, but who knows. At least Mike got into a real good one and he was able to close the deal.

Good weekend getaway. That last can be anything you want it to be.....lol. Mike's cutty was nice.

Awesome cutty, Mike! Beautiful colors on that fish! Looks like Joe Biden is still taking gas money for fishing trips according to that receipt. He is the bad “Joe”. You are the good “Joe” Keep up the great videos. Enjoy watching them. Tight lines and looking to get out on the water with the boat now. Btw good taste in movies also.
Still after those fish through ice I see. Mike's cutthroat was gorgeous but he didn't catch it using that site fishing technique so negative points for Mike!

Joe, what's the current status of Upper Sunshine? When I was fishing both last spring I had a hard time catching anything on lower but was nailing Cutthroat at the dam on Upper.
Never got a chance to get back in the fall to either.

From what grandpa Mike tells me, it is about the same as lower except for the edges are a little bit goofy right now. I’m sure if you bought a plank you could get on. Things tightened up pretty good by the end of this trip. Thanks for joining me! I might head out again in a day or two. Might have to bring the snowmobile this time and search for the fish. I have had my fill of humble pie! 😂
Oh, and one other question.
How did you find a place to put up your tent with all of that fishing pressure?? I hate fishing elbow to elbow with all of those people!!!! 😂😂
I just keep some construction signs in the back of my truck. The road closed ones work really good as you get to the lake, just put them at all the entrances and the crowds thin out pretty quick.
