- Road along with Ed to Eastern Montana to try out snag fishing for paddlefish. Had a great time and saw a beautiful part of the country and met some nice people too.

Thanks for the great content Joe!!
Glad you enjoy it! You never know what the day brings thankfully.
I’ve met some of the most memorable characters in “middle of nowhere, Montana.” Looks like I’m not alone! Looks like a great trip! Glad you guys went!
That’s more like a workout for bodybuilders. That cottonwood cabin was crazy.
It’s definitely a different way to try to get a fish out of the water. I must admit that my faith was wavering. I’ll have to try it again sometime and see if we can move a mountain or walk on the water.
As soon as the guy told me, they built a cabin out of Cottonwood trees, I had to see it and jumped in his truck five minutes after meeting him. Good times!
That's quite a workout, but looks fun!
Definitely a great trip. I am always in awe of certain animals in the kingdom that just look like they are from old stock. Almost dinosaur like.
Reminds me of salmon fishing in Alaska. Cool cabin. We used to pick asparagus off the canal banks, so tasty. Bucketlist fish, they are cool looking. That was spooky-watching them free float.
Thanks buddy! I agree with you. I’m not sure I’m brave enough to have a boat on a river like that. Knowing my luck, the motor wouldn’t start and I would be swimming with the fish.
Learned something, paddlefish are interesting critters! The cabin was cool and the storytelling was awesome with all the stuff around, like the asparagus (random 😂) saw mill. (Pretty innovative with the truck frames)
The asparagus was so delicious! I wish I had another day to hang out with him. He was such a hoot to be around. I got into some petrified wood as well. What a beautiful place to discover!
Wow. Those are big fish.
For sure. That same day, they told us that somebody caught a 95 pounder.
Where is the catch and cook with The paddlefish?😂
Right. We did get some fillets off that bad boy. I’m sure they’re probably tasty.
