Nice job. Can you extend the sequence to 32 or 64 steps?

Chorda's looper can record up to 128 bars! The first part of the loop that you play will set the song length for all layers added after it.

Looking forward to getting my hands on one, backed via kickstarter.
Question: Are you going to be selling the shoulder straps separately? I see a few different designs on your vids, curious about getting one.

Hey there, we are currently working to provide some accessories for Chorda, but don't have specific details to share as of yet. We'll be sure to let you know when we do.

I just got mine in the mail two days ago, and as of right now, this thing is more of a toy than a real instrument.
I don't know why anywhere in the advertisement it never mentioned that you can only play the pentatonic scale.
This makes it get boring really quickly, although yes it will make people that don't understand how to play music have an easier time.
I just feel like there could have been a lot more done with this than what was done for $250.

Hey, is there any info on the width and length of this thing? Also, I'm noticing that strums on the bridge lose notes when strummed in the sequencer, is this gonna be fixed? Also, is it possible to emulate a 6 string guitar, like a virtual string mode? Thanks in advance.

Hey there, it sounds like you may be asking about the quantization here. You can turn this off in the companion app. Chorda is roughly 17 inches long and 2.5 inches wide. As for virtual string mode, each pad automatically selects a 6-note chord and each of these notes can be triggered separately on the bridge like strings on a guitar. Chorda was not designed to exactly replicate a guitar, but is great for getting musical ideas out quickly with simple, fun ways to play.

@@Artiphon Can each of these chords be selected and preset in the app you're mentioning? Thank you for explaining the quantization however, and letting us disable that. That explains a fair bit. Thanks for the measurements as well!

@@JdThe65th Rather than assigning specific chords to each pad, you'll be able to load groups of chords all at once via the presets available in the companion app.
