To be a little more clear, I avoided one off returns, and stuck to returns that led to actual runs in the company not just a pop in to say hi Also , Completely forgot Cena’s return to MITB in 2021….shouldve been an honorable mention
Honestly WWE returns hit so different… I don’t think any other piece of entertainment can compete with the sheer amount of excitement and anticipation for a wrestler to return 👀

@@ddm2k1143 I like this list a lot it’s very different. There’s so many good returns. I vividly remember being hyped for No Way Out 2003 for Austin to come back and Rock vs Hogan 2
@@TheMikeSanchezShow Thanks, Mike. I enjoyed your list as well. I was thinking what resonated with me and the excitement of each return. There are two Undertaker returns that could've easily been on my list. The Undertaker returning at Judgement Day 2000, The Undertaker returning at Wrestlemania 20 to battle his brother Kane. I also thought about Bray Wyatt returning at Extreme Rules 2022 which is bittersweet, Cody Rhodes returning back to the WWE at Wrestlemania 38 against Seth Rollins and John Cena returning from pectoral injury at #30 and winning the 2008 Royal Rumble.
@@ddm2k1143 I hate that Judgement Day 2000 return because I love the iron man match but hate that rock had to lose almost wasting that awesome Backlash match they had lol
@@TheMikeSanchezShow Yes, The Judgement Day Main Event was so convoluted with HBK as the special ref and literally everyone from DX to Vince and Shane interfering until The Undertaker returns and Triple H won the WWF title by DQ was terrible. In my personal opinion, I thought this return was not executed as well as The Undertaker returning at 1994 Summer Slam and when he returned Wrestlemania 20 back to his hybrid Deadman persona after 4 years of The American Bad Ass and Big Evil. After being fired by Edge's wife Vickie Guerrero. The Undertaker returned at 2008 Summer Slam to face Edge in Hell in a Cell. Is an underrated return.
Roman and Rhea in 2024 shouldn’t be anywhere near a list like this. No disrespect to them. It’s just they were gonna comeback at some point. While the other returns are people returning from career threatening injuries or a decade plus of time away from the company. Just baffles me. Both his returns prior to this one were better. Roman coming back from Leukemia and him coming back as a heel were waaaaay better and meant more.
@@Vinnyp1020 I prefer this Roman return not because of anything other than the fact that we got a Babyface Roman Reigns that people want while still being his best character vs The Big dog which is something WWE was trying to do for YEARS but couldn’t do it. Similar to Cody, Roman was able to finally be his own character that HE wanted to be and it paid off big time. His Heel return is awesome but with no fans it’s kinda wack, and that’s no one’s fault but a huge part of the live entertainment is the fans. If there were fans I’d feel differently about it. For Rhea, I just love her leave me alone lol
