And all 50+ dudes conveniently forgot to hit dscan once in a while. Nobody was aligned to anything. Twenty seconds passed from the moment the Nestors had landed the blob till they warped in. Wasn't it enough time to gtfo? Apparently not. But kudos to the FC for uploading the video. It teaches how not to. Especially how not to repeat the same order over and over and over and over and over and over again. And over again. And how not to not give one single order to just burn out. you repeat the orders cuz alot of time too many people are paying attention to other things and miss the orders. also it sets a rythm for the Fleet commander to think while he is forming the next order.
There's repeating orders in a 1000 man fleet 2-3 times and only having to say it once in a 50 man fleet. If you need things repeating 8,9-10+ times there's something wrong there.
The constant repeating made the video unwatchable, triggered a down vote and alianeted me from EVE online for good. It was annoying as fuck. Imagine that you would pay real money to hear that shit every time you play. People have comitted suicide/murder for lesser things.

I haven't played, but the speed with which he speaks combined with the number of repetitions (especially anything over three) is what made me almost quit this video. There is no way that I could have this noise going off in my ears when I'm trying to focus. What do you find is the best number of times to repeat an order?
@@lanceknuth5300 depends. If you give an order to an individual repetition is not necessary. But if you are commanding a large troupe via a broadcast: repeat it as long as the order is relevant to make sure even the last pleb in chat gets it

The speed he is doing it is counter-productive though. Saying it 10 times in the time his normal cadence would say it 3 just makes it hard to understand for no reason. Probably adrenaline though, or mouth on auto whilst brain tries to decide what to do.
Imagine what we could do when we will be given the portrayed VRMMO on anime or fiction books. This is just on a monitor, how massively good it would be if you have POV footage of an interstellar war.

they knew the rorq was bait, just dident have a clue what was gonna come to its rescue. using nestors to smart bomb like they did are extreamly funn when it works and pay off, but it can just as easily go the other way, like it would have if drag bubbles wasent messed up. horde are rich and sometimes its just about having a funn fights, and not really care too much about losses and the outcome:) agree i dont like when battle reports arent posted on those types of fights tho :)
I am relatively new at Eve but, it does not seem very commonplace for a Rorq to go through Wormhole space. Even as new as I am, I would have been cautious thinking this was bait. So, was this just greed that got the best of PH?
Rorqs are usually only used when all wormholes into a system are closed so they can be used more safely. There is always the possibility that a wandering wormhole can spawn in the system or a group could rage roll into you but every precaution possible is taken. This means that if you just stumble across one, they are either incredibly stupid or baiting you.
I mean this is basically a raid, and he's In the role of comander. What would you have him do different? Think he did alright he just got outsmarted by a tricky play. Idk prolly just Leroy Jenkins everything and never played any endgame content in video games that involve more than slamming ur face into your keyboard/controller
