I really wish I could just do pve and not be bothered by anyone. All I want to do is mine and do missions..no pvp but thats not going to happen. Done playing Eve Online. It was fun but I'm not really a pvp person. Just want to shut my mind off and mine. In order to mine in the Rorq I have/had to join a corp and then give others access to my account (albeit limited) and no one is going to have any access to my account but me. High sec is an option (a shitty one) but even there you can be attacked/bumped and that sucks all on its own. I'm done for now (unless for some crazy reason CCP makes it so you can do pve without being attacked). I'll keep watching your vids Bjorn. At least those will give me some enjoyment in my life. Eve is a PvP game, if you don't join a corp you will die in rorqs and if they are saying they need access to your account they're scamming you, I think what you mean is providing an API key, that gives them read only access to your account, if you can't understand why that's needed you'll never fly a rorq, it's used to help prevent spies killing things like rorqs in alliances.
I fully understand providing an api key. I know its limited access. The main thing that turns me off about this game is the pvp itself. There are no pve (only) areas..pvp all the time everywhere (granted with repercussions in HS and near gates). I know they will never change that. Thats why I'm stopping playing Eve Online. Its a fun game but I don't care for the pvp. The only reason I stayed as long as I did was because I was operating out of HS (only). As I said earlier all I want to do is mine and be left alone (don't mind being in groups to mine but just "alone/away" from pvp). Also getting bumped while mining in an Orca (HS obviously) is really annoying and another thing I can't prevent on my own. People are assholes who like annoying other people. I prefer playing a game like WoW because I can go on a pve server and do w/e I want without fear of getting killed in pvp (granted I know when you die you don't lose your stuff like in Eve but you know what I mean)Who knows. Maybe I'll get the guts and come back and provide that api key.

There are corps that live on the test server bbut you lose stuff after a while when the mirror happens at leeast pretty sure youdo, EVE IS a PVP game. There is a main system where people PvP, i found some structures and few people on the test server near where I live in the real game. I don't know how living on test server works and the corp are probably pretty secretive, idk if you find them but due to the fact it's the test server, you can get everything non faction for 100 isk so there is no supply/demand. if you're adamant to not pvp (which is how i started then i learnt PvP is fun) then stay in an npc corp so you can't get wardec'd and only fly the tanky versions of ships eg procurers/skiffs if it is a mining barge. I could never go back to highsec now ( I live in nullsec) and go back to no PvP, it's so boring Dx

Can confirm, do 1v1, hostile brings falcon, bring small gang, hostiles bring carriers/dreads, it's become caps or jackdaws, the old ways are dead
