Thank you for showing this method! I find it very useful for getting to know a new deck. I always draw additional minors for clarifying the cards I get by jumping around. So much fun and an easy way to explore unknown territory.
Thank you for the inspiration! I've been working with smaller size tarot decks and have been wanting to do a "tarot grand tableau" reading with these decks. In addition, these will be interesting decks to use for a grand tableau as they have their own "deck system". Nevertheless, this should be quite the insightful reading. ~in spirit~ Aimee 🌹🕯✨
@@CardsnColors love germany was there at my 20s in Heidelberg studied for 3 months in the university!!! had time to go all around germany almost!! so friendly and so many things to do!!!

In terms of timing would it make sense to see where the Fool is located in the 21 card spread and in your case the Fool is near realization as he or she is close to the last card?
Yes, I‘d say so. If the fool‘s at the beginning - there’s still a long way ahead with multiple factors. If he’s near the end of the tableau, the journey, connected to the question or situation at hand, is nearing its end or final stage - though I wouldn’t read the cards before and after the Fool in a strict, linear way, like “this has gone before” and “this will happen in the future”. In my personal view the whole tableau is a mirror of the “here and now” - except when reading triplets directionally. What the Fool leaves behind and moves toward too - the card to his left and his right - are on one hand a chronological progression, and on the other hand an advice, like “leave this behind” and “move forward to”. (It depends on the question and situation, your intuition and inner guidance…)
Hi Chris: What if the 22nd card is the Fool? If he is zero, then the method can't work, right? If he's 22=4 then he has the Emperor's number and doesn't seem right either. Thanks for this, Anne
If the 22nd is the Fool, than the question‘s foolish or the Tableau not trustworthy - aka everything’s possible. There a three ways to deal with this: 1. don’t read the Tableau and try again (later); 2. start at 4, as you’ve mentioned; 3. you can still read the central card, the positions of the cards, the directions of the figures etc.
For myself but mostly for clients. For myself it’s mostly single (inspirational) cards or „threesomes“. I only do a Tableau for myself twice or maybe three times a year or so. (But that’s just MY way of doing it. You can do what ever feels right to you - of course! But I‘d say that the significance and meaning gets watered down when doing it too often.)
@@CardsnColors Thanks for both of these helpful responses. BTW! I found a copy of the earlier edition of the Arcana of Astrology and for a very reasonable price. I'm so thrilled to have it. I saw a comparison video of the 2 editions and prefer the one you have and now I will have. I think there was to much pink and purple through the new coloration and the color was not as blended and soft like this edition. And there is no Earth card but instead an Ascendant which really doesn't mean much.
I love this spread and use it most. Thank you for sharing!
You’re very welcome!
This is soooo helpful! Thank you for inspiring me to finally use my majors only cards!!
You’re very welcome! Enjoy! 😊
That was a fantastic lesson. Thank you!
What a great approach! What a great explanation!
Thank you very much! 😊
I couldn’t get on with lenormand but I like this with the tarot 😊👍🏽🇬🇧❤️

So great to see this tableau as a way to read Tarot! This was excellent, Chris. Thanks for your expertise and time. Anne
Thank you for your kind and lovely feedback, Anne. Glad you enjoyed the video! Let me know - or maybe share - when you did your own Tarot Tableau…
@@CardsnColors I will!
Very insightful blend of Lenormand and Tarot! I also loved that you used traditional meanings for Marseille majors to do this. Thank you!
Glad you like(d) it! 😊

The high priestess and hierophant are also used as significators. For the man and woman in lenormand.!
Or the Juggler/Magician and the Popess/High Priestess. ☺️
Do you read this tableau for yourself or just for querents? Obviously you would do this daily, but maybe a monthly or yearly self reading?
