Thank you, this was just perfect. I didn't know if there was a preferred order in which to read the cards. Your explanation of the word tableau opens up the reading potential. The fine details of the portrait.

I do love grand tableau, but still not confident enough, going through the nine cards tableau and your beautiful diamond layout, medium and large, which offer a nice amount of information! ❤️

Love the gran tableaux. Maybe a few reasons like this for us? 😯🤗 Thank you 💛

Hi Layla, lovely to see you here. I have 2 questions for the moment:
Firstly, in what order do you read the cards in a Grand Tableau? If I have the coffin in the house of the stork, is it the house which modifies the pulled card or viceversa?
In this case would I read coffin + stork (which is the end of something which either was inevitable or the end of something which leads to a profound change) or would I read it as stork + coffin (which could be read more as a change or a big move which dies, doesn’t happen.)?
What do the corners of the grand tableau and the last line of 4 mean to you?
    Thank you as always!
    Much love 💜

Very lucid ! My question is the centre card the answer to your question or the last card in a 3 card reading ?
    Many thanks

Which Tableau format to you have in mind? If it's the Piquet (the one with the 4 cards as the last line on the bottom), I would say it's this bottom line that best captures the outcome. The first 3 cards set the general tone for the reading. Does this make sense? Please let me know.

Hi , loved the tableau info thank you. How do you lay the cards? Do you lay them down in rows or across in rows? Thanks

    • @LenormandReader
      @LenormandReader  3 роки тому

Either way is fine Tam. Go with what you like. lt just matters that your deck is well-shuffled.

are the cards ordered in a deck, by its creator? I've seen interpretations where the reading picked out cards sitting "in the space of another card"? EX: the woman card is in place of the key card...
so, I guess my question is: is there an original space designated for each card, and when doing a gran Tableau, using that ordinal layout as an interpretation to how the cards fall in the layout now currently being read?
Thanks 😊 🙏 Love the education on all of this!!!

The houses of the tableau are ordered by number 1 to 36. The rider is always 1, the clover 2, the ship 3, etc until you get to the cross which is 36. That’s what decides the houses of the grand tableau and they never change. It’s like a blueprint map behind the cards you draw for the reading.
So if I drew the bouquet 💐 for the first card, it would have to be in the house of the rider because the rider is always house 1. And if the next card I pull is the whip, then I’d say it’s in the house of the clover because falling in the second house it has to be related to the clover. And so on.
The creator of the Grand Tableau designated it as such not the creator of any deck.
You can look this up online there’s tons of resources. 🍀

Yes Tableau does mean painting. Perhaps they meant that tableau doesn’t mean portrait. Which is also a French word that the English language has integrated. Here in France 🇫🇷 when you say ‘c’est un tableau’, you mean a painting and if you want to say specifically that it’s a painting of someone then you say ‘c’est un portrait’.
Just as if you arrive at an English language artist studio, if you ordered a portrait or a painting they wouldn’t offer you the same things.
Le Grand Tableau is more akin to “The Big Painting” :-) 🍀 (I know, it sounds better in French)
And the portraits within the tableau would be “les portraits” :-)
    Thanks Layla 💜

      I forgot to say:
You can call it whatever you want :-) language is as it used. So unless l’Academie Francaise (the police of the french language) sends you a mail, you’re good to call it whatever you want, we understand perfectly 🍀

To be honest, I feel like she tends to fall into a scheme of multi-level marketing. Unlike other youtubers who really share their techniques and guidances freely, she just talked a lot but not really showed what it's really about so I find it quite confusing to follow. Of course if you would like to know more in details you need to check out some courses on her website :)
