I look forward to seeing the projects where you'll incorporate your stenciled art, Ann-marie. One thought I've had: Do you ever leave the wet stenciled project taped down to dry to keep it flat? I still consider it a "messy" technique though, LOL. Also, I wonder if using watercolor card stock would be a good base? (I know you want comments on your blog or Facebook, but as I've said, I've tried and that hasn't worked for me in the past, sorry.)
email me direct Gaila at annmarieatcup@gmail.com - don't leave your stencil on to dry as you'd have a job cleaning it after, it can be a nightmare! as the paste drys like concrete :) but you can leave the background taped down flat to dry, I obviously had to lift mine up to show everyone.. Watercolour card is a good base, I like using it but of texture paste it would be a waste, it it drys just the same as general cardstock.. only difference would be if after it is dry on watercolour card, you could then go on to use it with dropping techniques of watercolour and water paints, as it would make nice effects around the texture paste.. but general cardstock is best for general texture paste.. if that makes sense.. hope my reply sticks!! xxx
Thanks for your reply, Ann-marie. We're lucky -- it wasn't dropped -- twice in a row! Thanks also for your email address; I just didn't feel like "bothering" you, but I guess replying here is the same "bother". I've tried texture paste (once), and wasn't happy with how the cardstock did not dry flat despite leaving it taped down on all four sides while it dried. Don't remember now what weight card it was, but as usual, you've inspired me to give it another go!
Those colors are yummy! Oooo that came out so cool! Brilliant! Thanks for sharing! See you tomorrow!
I thought it was fabulous I have subscribed yes it reminded me of fireworks too ❤

Hugs,
Kris

You make me nervous with your pokey tool. Never cut towards you, always away! I thought you came awfully close to your hand!
