I'm holding Greg the Gammy Leg Zuerlein responsible for 3 of the Jets' 7 losses this year. Now 6-4 would have still been a disappointing start, but the season wouldn't have been over by Week 10.
I love correcting grammar as much as the next guy; however, “farther” is the correct form of the word “far” in this sense. The quote was, “Not only are kickers more accurate in the 2024 season and then in years past, but they’re also hitting up farther field goals than in years past, so it doesn’t feel that way, although it is that way.” While “further” may sound better in this scenario, the word “further” is commonly used figuratively or metaphorically, which is not described in the quote in the video. “Farther” is used in a literal or physical sense, such as an actual measurement, which is implied by the fact that he spoke about the kicking distances in the 2024 season. Nice try, though!
I think kickers have been inconsistent, but better. Some of the recent "greats" have been struggling, and some who have been bubbling under the surface are breaking out. injuries and rotations have put kicking as a whole in a weird place this year.
@@america1st721 but its generally a luck based position that gets swapped a lot like a defense. At least you can predict how a defense will do based off the other team. But a kicker its all about where the offense gets stopped
had jake elliot starting, got a solid -3 point start to the week
We may suck this year. But Branden Aubrey is my hero
You started with "why are kickers missing a whole bunch of easy kicks" and completely left it behind

We got rid of the kicker position in my fantasy league. Best decision ever.
kicking is a HUGE part of the game, hence, you must have a K in fantasy.
@@america1st721but you don’t
@@finn5352 why not?
@america1st721 100% agree.

Chris boswell is the best kicker by a mile
Jake Bates cooks
Why couldn’t bass do it in the playoffs 😭😭
And Justin Tucker fell off a cliff 😢
Except Chris Boswell
Bos is Mr. Consistent and has been for a while. He's just finally shining because Tucker's canon leg can't aim anymore
Only if Justin tucker could do that
