    I was soo happy to see a person of color analyst and see a desi client. I haven't seen many of those. I didn't see you test out pinks, yellows or other seasons. With regards to her undertone, I don't think she's muted. She's olive. I have skin tone and undertone just like her and I wear the coolest and brightest colors and definitely turn a weird green with the wrong colors. I wished you did more bright winter comparison. If you were comparing neutral cool (as you did dark winter), might as well explore the bright side of neutral cool. I think you could benefit from comparing the sister seasons on camera. Summer palette on her, and the sister seasons of other contenders to be sure you are on the path. Hope to see more poc videos.

      I would have loved to see the bright winter colors as well, I was also wondering if she's olive in which case it would make sense for her to have a warm sister season, it seems olives are always bordering in terms of temperature. And I could imagine her pulling off the yellow from the bright winter palette which few people can.

    Glad to finally see a colour analysis with someone who reacts to metals exactly like me. Gold give me a very strong green cast, silver wash me out and rose gold turns me red. Best metals white gold, platinum or silver pink, not the easiest metal to find in jewelleries.

      Yes metals can be tricky sometimes depending on how pigmented they are! I’m so glad you found it helpful❤️

      There's a color of gold called champagne gold, maybe try that?

    Yes! You nailed this. She's a Cool Winter for sure. You can really tell by how the whites of her eyes pop with the right cool colors. Which is the first thing I noticed when I got a draping session and also turned out to be Cool Winter. I love my colors and have been purging anything warm. The only challenge for Cool Winter is, I think, makeup. The trend right now is so much warm that it can be tricky to find the purpley lipsticks and truly cool reds/pinks. I also had to ditch eye palettes. I think it's better when you're cool to aim for single colors to avoid wasting 1/2 a palette. Your client looks beautiful in her colors. :)

    Absolutely love this system, and everything makes sense. Just subscribed 😅💕💕💕
    I have 2 questions :
    1. when you're a "true" anything, does that mean that no subcategory stand out? For example, does a true winter shine equally with cool, deep and bright winter colors?
    2. If you're say, a cool winter, like your client... what are her 2nd and 3rd best palettes? Will it be the other winters 2nd cool summer 3rd, or cool summer 2nd other winters 3rd?

    • @HaloImageConsulting
      @HaloImageConsulting  8 днів тому

      Aw thank you so much!
      For your first question you’re exactly right. Usually all 3 sub seasons look equally as good on you if you’re a “true”
      For your second question, if someone is a cool winter, I go by the sister season method. Which means her second best pallet will be found using her primary characteristic. So a cool winter will have a cool summer as the sister season and she will be able to steal some colors, but not all colors from that season. another example would be deep, autumn and deep winter being sister seasons. And soft summer and soft autumn, and so on.
      I’d love to be able to help you out with a virtual or in person color analysis! Check it out here www.haloimage.net/color-analysis-lookbook 💖

    Fantastic , I had guessed Bright winter , she seemed like she could handle the coolness , saturation and the vibrancy , staying away from things that were too soft and pastels on the summer side

    If you're using a 16 seasonal analysis system, she's definitely leaning more True Winter than Cool Winter. True Winter colours are less deep than Deep Winter colours and less bright than Cool Winter colours. And one more thing is that, a True Winter can't pull off Cool Summer colours unlike Cool Winters than can still pull off Cool Summer colours. And she has all these characteristics on her. She didn't like any of the summer colours. Deep Winter colours are a little dull for her because of the extreme depth. While some Cool Winter colours sometimes are a touch too bright for her like the classic blue. But of course, Cool Winter colours are the second best colours for a True Winter. So, using the 12 seasonal colours system, she would definitely suit Cool Winter colours the most. I'm a True Winter too and I can relate to her a lot in term of the reactions towards colours. In daily life, I just use both True Winter and Cool Winter palette. I often borrow the icy colours from Cool Winter palette because they are not overwhelming on me despite the brightness, probably because they're light colours. But I still avoid some medium deep colours like classic blue that are too bright for me. Normal true blue would be a better choice for staple.

    I frequently watch your videos along with other color analysis content, and I have a suggestion. It would be very helpful if you could review plain T-shirts from sites like Jiffy. This would give clearer color references for those of us who wear casual clothing rather than formal or designer items. It would also aid in distinguishing which colors belong to which sub-season. Personally, I believe I am a Deep Autumn.

    Hi! Why is cool winter better on her than bright winter? ❤

    • @HaloImageConsulting
      @HaloImageConsulting  8 місяців тому

      Hi there! To be a bright winter she would need to have more of a striking contrast between her eyes, skin and hair! Her coloring is very similar in all her features. Also the main characteristic of her features are their coolness, not their brightness

      @@HaloImageConsulting Ah okay makes sense! Thanks for replying ❤️ According to a few tests I am considerd a dark winter, but because I'm a little lighter than this lady I thought that maybe I'm a cool winter as well? 🤔

      Online tests and filters can be very misleading (especially for people of color), color analysis is an art that requires a trained eye. If you’re in doubt, I’d love to do your analysis virtually, where we take 30min to an hour to try different colors on your photos and discuss the results! More details at haloimage.net💖
