You video popped up and being a fashion fan, I watched. I am in my 50s, an immigrant in the US, and have 3 grown sons. I have worked in the IT business and the medical field all my adult life. And I have worn suits since I was 19. When I feel like a change, I go straight into bohemian with maxi dresses and boots. I have a closet full of maxi dresses, boots, and suits, and I love to play with that. :) Believe it or not, those items are timeless. You just have to play with the colors and accessories, and use your imagination. I don't wear makeup, with the exception of lipstick - I do feel naked without it. But I don't like eye shadows or foundations or those eyeliners. My hair is also natural, and I have had it long all my adult life. Again, I play with the accessories, like scrunchies, ribbons, and bows, and braids/ponytails. At work, I usually wear my hair up in a bun or in a very neat pony tail held together by a nice satin bow. On casual days, free-flowing or braided with ribbons. And I almost always wear hats. My eyebrows have always been thin because I have an auto-immune condition, and I don't like anything fake, like those tattoo eyebrows that look painted on the forehead. Some are better than others, but most look unnatural to me. So, I have to skillfully fill mine in with a soft pencil, but only on special occasions, and very lightly. If it is a date night or a dinner, I will put on some very light pink or peach powder blush with a big, fluffy brush. It has to look natural. The only time I go all out with makeup in for Halloween. Then, I show no mercy. :) I love Halloween. For skincare, all I have ever used was petroleum jelly, not even sunscreen. I am too old school, I guess, but I once in a while have a facial with AHA peel, which makes my skin soft and smooth like a baby's butt. :) I wish I had taken better care of my skin as a young woman. It's important. When it comes to fashion and makeup trends, they come and go and tend to recycle, it's a revolving door. The important thing is personal style. No one can dictate what the rules are. We are all unique individuals, and fashion can be a statement, a way of expression, or our trademark. Enjoy. :)
