When ever Butch Harmon demonstrates the downswing he is casting the club right from the top, this confuses people into thinking this is what he wants you to do, he does do it to show bad swings but he also does it when showing what you should do.
I think that’s the point. A lot of people think they need to come into the ball from a very laid off and stuck position. He’s showing the slot, not over it not under it.
At what point does anyone seriously see him casting? If that is what you are seeing I’m going to imagine your a big lover of “ shaft lean” and “lag” . It’s the wrist angles that cast, not the club.
So I noticed Peter got pretty shitty with Butch about addressing the caller…(he even did say Hi to the caller too? Man that got akward…Why do you think he got so bummed? 😂 I mean you could tell he was one second away from really losing it on him 😅
I miss Peter. He was smart and honest. Arnie shouldn't have fired him. Bad advice. Golf Channel has been going downhill since NBC took over.
