- A few weeks ago we asked fans to take the ultimate leap of faith by submitting a video of their swing to be critiqued by none other than Tiger Woods himself. Quite a few took the plunge, and Woods didn’t hold back with his analysis putting his golf IQ on full display.

As far as his body, I'm looking at him and like, man he can play for years. As long as his back stays healthy. He looks great!

Lol I love no-nonsense Tiger is. With the first kid there was no bs “hey little buddy, that’s an awesome swing, keep it up!” Nope, went straight into the analysis. Same w/ the Michigan State dude - no chuckling at the bad swing, immediately starting prescribing a drill. TW is the grandmaster.
And he knows how to tailor the tips based on the level of the player

I think that’s why Tiger gets so frustrated with himself. He knows everything you could possibly know about the golf swing, and when the ball doesn’t go where you want I’m sure it’s frustrating!
Even more frustrating when you know what to feel and what to do but your body just can’t do it anymore…
the key there is, he does that, with zero negativity. It's all positive reinforcement which is the key to getting through to people. That's why he'd be a much better coach than he gives himself credit for...
Unless it's charles barkley tier bad I don't see why Tiger would chuckle, pretty much everybody has a bad swing compared to himself

He didn’t mean “actually” get more athletic lol. He meant his stance. Balls of ur feet, hips bent, chest up. You learn the athletic stance when ur like 6 years old on a baseball field 🤦🏻♂️

@Timothy Rosier I enjoy it too. I followed his game since he won his first US Amateur in 1994, so 26 years. I’m 40, so I’ve been following Tiger’s career for well over half my life. It was amazing to watch him play during his prime and, as a golf fan, I feel blessed that I got to witness it, he was very robotic and quite frankly, a prick for a lot of years.
He’s so much different now and it’s fun to see him actually enjoy himself. He just seems so much more approachable and likable now.

In a purely professional way, Henni brings out the best in tiger when it comes to interviews. He’s so comfortable and provides much greater insight when she interviews him

What Tiger was saying when he said "Get more athletic" wasn't that the kid was out of shape. He was saying that he wasn't in an Athletic Stance. In Athletic Training we use this term a lot. Basically he's saying fix the posture and get in a stance that is more prepared for movement. That is why he gave the analogy of a baseball player fielding the ball.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised. I mean the mics they use for TV broadcasts are friggin insane with what they pick up and the whoosh and crack you hear but through like an iPhone mic Tigers swing still had the whoosh and crack. He sure gets that club movin.

Perhaps the most underrated aspect of Tiger is his ability to teach & relate his formidable expertise. He impresses each time he talks technique, strategy & course management.
Great tip for everybody is "keep your eye on the ball" - notice he didn't say keep your head down.
He does keep it down, until the ball is gone.

@Nick A few. Like Anikka and David Duval. Not Tiger, Jack, Hogan, etc. Keeping your eyes looking back slightly behind the ball through impact can help keep a fast swing on plane instead of shifting it left and hitting a pull or pull-slice (for a right hander).

Keeping your eye on the ball is a good way of putting it. I always try to think of keeping my head still until I make contact.

I absolutely love that he says the words "Get more/Be more athletic" it is such an applicable expression that applies to literally every sport that I can think of. Fielding a grounder, playing defense, doing a squat, hitting a ball, tennis, soccer, defense in every sport, literally so key for athletes and one more reason why I love this guy.
Tiger would see my swing and his advice would be, "Bro just stop."

Tiger is a superior instructor. Simple, concise, uncluttered. Henni is so pleasantly easy, and has great rapport with Tiger.
I love how he identifies their ability and provides feedback accordingly.
I love that he takes it seriously with all the videos, even the last one.
Goes to show hes pretty much gave tips to all level of players

I know pros know their stuff, for themselves, but for him to pick up their errors in seconds is pretty amazing. Either he keys in on specifics or basics or he absorbs info quickly. Amazing really to diagnose that quick.
When tiger won the last masters I was in tears absolutely amazing day.

Great interview. Tiger's tips are so good, simple changes that we can easily incorporate. Like to way he keeps reminding us to enjoy the game, at whatever level we are at.

Dude he’s had 6 different golf swings and he’s won with all of them, yes he knows the golf swing in and out he might have the highest golf iq in history.

One video follows him analyzing each shot. The amount of thought he puts into some shots was surprising.

I really love hearing Tiger analyze these videos, so sad what happened to him, I hope he recovers well. I’m not very good at golf but watching him analyze these people and then re-watching those same moves and understanding where they’re making mistakes may actually be helping me so I really love it. Thanks tiger, get well soon.

Tiger and Henni could do analysis and commentary on ANYTHING and we would watch. Good pairing, complimenting skills, and wonderful chemistry & humor between the two. GolfDigest have found a winning formula in feel good, do good content everyone can watch and enjoy. The ending is especially cute.
What a brilliant swing analyst Tiger is. What a superb teacher he would make. He gets right to the heart of what his students need and offers his suggestions with crystal clarity. Henni draws him out nicely.

Man I love this Tiger! Growing up and watching him at his most dominant was such a pleasure. He inspired me and so many more to pick up the clubs. I’m so happy to see just how universally he is still loved!

Tiger explaining how to not come over top at 11:30 is what so many people need and the best most simple explanation I've ever heard.
Everyone over complicates it.. "pull a chain, let hands drop, keep back at target, skip a rock, etc"

Im sure tiger finds her attractive etc etc, like any man would. But by all accounts everyone loves erica especially tigers kids.
She literally supported him when it looked like he was finished as a golfer. He couldnt walk or even sit upright some days. Plus she goes to almost every tournament he plays...she doesnt mess about lol

Ever since coming back since his last setback tiger seems like a different person. I wonder if he went to therapy or something also because he seems now like such a genuine good guy who I just love watching.
The setback, the kids, and Master's redemption did wonders for him. He fell on his face and realized it wasn't the end of the world. Found love again. Found success again. Its humbled him.
I love this version of TW! Just like the late Kobe Bryant. Same thing. Man on top of the world. Hit a setback and then redeem himself by maturing, and surrounding himself with the people he loved.
