Wow reading this comments felt really nice. I'm no way in the same position as you guys are but this year I split up with my first gf after a year and a half together. It literally broke my heart and this song and the whole band's music always reminded me of her. She's happy with someone else right now so it wasn't all that bad. I hope someday I get over her and meet her again without pain inside me.

It's unbelievably profound to me that a group of people I have never met can bring to life emotions that I never realized I was feeling. Just lost someone very very dear to me recently too. This is my go-to. Those lyrics are absolutely perfect. Hurt is alright sometimes.
