    I’m thinking the 2.0 plus with the 240 A esc and 6485 radium motors would be a good board for the novice modified class(because of riptides) at eskqte con. You can dial in the trucks to race mode with the angles to the specific race track and you get INSANE power. Throw a pair of race tires or nova 6 inchers and you’re ready to rock.
    How come more people aren’t talking about the interstellar and why aren’t anybody at all talking about the 2.0 plus? You get literally everything. And for me it’s the perfect battery I don’t need a 14s6 like the nomad has not do I want it under my feet.

      Haha first off thanks for checking out the video and the comment! Second I paid for my interstellar, Mboards didn’t give anything away! The interstellar is one of my favorite everyday boards 12/4 mad105v2 is perfect set up to rip around and enjoy the board at a great price. I only rode the 2.0 plus at Esk8con and it was definitely great as well! If you want more top end speed that 14/4 will give it to you!
      As far as Esk8con you can race on anything you want, it’s the skill level that’s going to place you where you are. I went from novice to advance division in one year not practicing racing at all just riding around every day. Some people build DIY boards and race every day and still can’t get into pro class, some people ride stock hurricane and atlas pro and get into pro class. So it’s a skill on how to ride fast and being able to do it on any board.
      That being said 6” nova tires, and giving this board some nice carve set up to get around tight turns would be a great contender! Hope to see you at Esk8con 2025

    Dr esk8 is the best. Nice video bros🎉🎉🎉People would be silly to choose anyother 12s4p option over this.

    I wonder which stability beast is more stable between this and the Zues Max . The max is supposed to be crazy crazy stable for straight line and high speed carving.
    I wish there was more videos on this
    I’m saving up for this board currently
    1500 is a steal for what you get made in the USA.
    Why in tf would I give ownboard my money over Mboards? lol!
    About my “slow” stinger
    There was a bad pulley bearing creating friction now it hauls ass.
    Turns out TKP rear and DKP front is incredible and I don’t know why more people don’t do it.
    I’m always tightening my rear truck a lot more, swapping the rear to tkp didn’t even reduce my lean on the back it just made it more natural.
    Going from whaa phaaa city to 30mp+ without breaking a sweat on a kick tail board is a really good feeling and I’m astonished. Replacing the 28mm risers with 18mm ones helped a lot. With just riptides and dkp both sides I hit 33mph the other day zero wobble.
    Rear tkp is 93/90 krank barrels and the front dkp is the same. All flats.
    For my 185 pound self this is perfect
    That was random. I just felt the need to share with you the wonders of mixing front DKP with rear tkp.
    The same can be done with the explorer and other boards

      Glad you’re enjoying the Tynee stinger! This interstellar is one of my favorite every days boards. Lighter weight, amazing range and power for days. This is so stable because of the ability to adjust the split angle on the trucks. Giving you stupid straight line speed or carve like a monster when you swap it to 55°

    • @DrewElia
      @DrewElia  6 місяців тому

      Bigger motors and more motor amps of power, the pro is a great street board but you're going to have more power on the interstellar by far!

    Hey I just picked up this board, I was torn between this and the nomad n1 gear drive. I’m curious, if I wanted to change this to gear drive down the road is that possible? Would I need whole new motors or could I convert this to gear somehow perhaps with the Omni kit?

    • @DrewElia
      @DrewElia  4 місяці тому

      Yes you can swap out systems to gear drive, I’m not sure exactly what’s compatible with the system

    Thanks for taking time to review this Masterpiece Drew! Your review is spot on man. I definitely think you should do a review on these trucks in the near future so people could see how special the trucks are. For me the trucks are the centerpiece of this street monster. I have both Endurance & this deck, Mboards tuned this beauty perfect! Although I won’t be putting ATs w/ this deck, for me strictly MadV2 or Dad bods with these trucks. This board straight outta the box will make you fall back in love with THANE!!

      Dope my man! I’ll be doing a full follow up on the trucks and a break down with other set ups as well in the near future! I agree that this board truly shines in thane set up! The mad v2 is just a near perfect wheel for me! Glad you enjoy the board!!!

      Which board feels more powerful?

    • @DrewElia
      @DrewElia  6 місяців тому

      The endurance or the interstellar? You could gear both to be as powerful as eachother. But the range on the endurance is clearly more at a 12s8p but both are 12s and both use the same motors. The VESC are different and you could technically pump out more power on the endurance over the interstellar. Does that answer your question?

      I still have my hurricane!!! It has gone through so many transformations on my channel, belt drive two different gear drives, ShocBoard system, and it still just as great as the day I got it! The interstellar definitely would give this board a run for its money. The VESC, and trucks alone make this a very stable smooth power board. Love the feel of it!

    • @DrewElia

    • @DrewElia
      @DrewElia  7 місяців тому

      12s4p and 14s4p are that sweet spot balance of power/weight I love the range of a 12s/6p/8p like the about Tabor or Endurance but I don’t personally go 35-50 miles every day, just typically on group rides where we stop to charge anyways so a 5amp charger and a few hours I’m good!

    How do you like it compared to the endurance? I don't like how heavy the endurance is and a wooden deck seems like it would feel better

    • @DrewElia
      @DrewElia  7 місяців тому

      The interstellar is lighter than the endurance rough 31-34 lbs I believe. It’s that 12s8 that makes the boar heavy as well!

  • @ALTRON3
    @ALTRON3 7 місяців тому +1

    I’ve been waiting waiting for this review. Thanks heaps.
    But how does it actually go? How powerful is it?
    As I’ve seriously been considering pulling the trigger on this to replace my hadean bamboo ‘trampoline’ board .
    Also. No gear drive option?
    Street wheels 4 life so I’d definitely get the 105 v2’s +gear drive… THEN it would be perfect 🤩

    • @DrewElia
      @DrewElia  7 місяців тому

      It’s powerful enough with proper gearing to get up to 35 mph. It’s just locked in stable with these trucks.
      You won’t have any bounce like a bamboo board at all, this is just lock in stability.
      It’s belt drive but you could upgrade to gear drive if you wanted to. That’s the point of the board is it’s customizable to fit you, you want bigger motors okay, larger VESC yup, bigger battery sounds good. This board can be a blank slate if you wanted it to be.
      As it comes it’s a well balanced board of price to performance. You can rip it up and down the street or slap some AT on and go off roading, though, Thane for life as well my man. AT has its place but I love the benefits of a urethane wheel!

      Except the price is a little higher gonna have to compete with that new nomad n1 2 in one with a massive battery don’t think this one has a chance… plus I’ve heard they’ve got a little motor mount issue

    • @DrewElia
      @DrewElia  7 місяців тому

      This definitely positions itself in that market, with the trucks alone being a huge factor for me, and the ability to completely customize it to your set up is fantastic! New remotes, different motors, even bigger batteries down the road! It helps to be able to future proof yourself with the interstellar!

    • @DrewElia
      @DrewElia  7 місяців тому +1

      Yes acedeck definitely has positioned itself very very nicely in the market. They make fantastic boards and amazing power output. This interstellar is for people who want to be able to upgrade and future proof themselves with being a blank slate as well! Though I do love my Acedeck products! I haven’t had any issues with my motor mounts at all! Everything has been top notch, and I’ll continue to do updates on this board and I ride it more and change out a few things as I grow with it!

      @@DrewElia if I have a Hurricane 3K Carbon + TKP / Gear drive + 165mm
      tubeless tires / 12S4P Molicel P42A and all I want is the most range possible. I know I can get that big extended battery box to sit on top of the board. But… what is the best board with the best range? Endurance? Ect?

    • @DrewElia
      @DrewElia  3 місяці тому

      Well, there are options but for sleekness, the endurance is 12/8p which is good for 50 miles on a charge with AT tires. Even more with urethane wheels. Acedeck also with the nomad n3 14/6p it depends on what you are looking for as a rider
