These gears will work better deep in grease. This gearbox is similar to what you can find in mid drive electric bike.

i do wonder, if i service the board like one would how long would the board last if i use it every other day about 30-40 km?
Like anything, if you give some love to your board it will last you a very long time doesn't matter how many km you do!
