I just bent that tang just a touch, and it works fantastic...I want to rewire it so that it unlocks with the 3 other doors instead of with the front door...
All, fyi update. After using the lock for 3 months or so I noticed it wasn't locking because the tubing was binding a bit at the base of the steel finger. To correct problem I ground about 1/16 off at base of steel finger for better clearance to the tubing. Took awhile to figure out why it was hanging up because its in a hard to see the location but it did the trick

Just installed the P&L in my 2015 1500. Had the same issue with the lock movement. The hose insert on the white fork worked perfectly - thank you!!

Looks like 1/2" vinyl. The idea is to add about 1/16" on the inside of fork each side to make it 1/8" narrower. Good luck!
