so much of what people do is off-turning - but the authentic way he approaches his musicianship is so refreshing - both live, as u mentioned, but also just with what he records (i'd say, not specific to, but most evidenced by his last 'bum)
beautiful. I agree with the comment below me about the raw appeal. it's a great song all around. the bass, guitar riff, drums and vocals all just come together so nicely. christ almighty music like this is underrated in the U.S.
@@micahchambers5096 even that I still think that this is not a good performance, the kindness of your comment (even when mine was rude) made think that It wasnt the best way to say It, so thank you for that and for not attacking me, even when i "deserve It"
This is like that awkward gap between raw makeout videotape and super polished Mac Demarco lol
I wonder what they were billed as? This is like a month before Rock and Roll nightclub was released.
@@pipn9090 no rock and roll nightclub was released in march and this was in december. 2 also came out in october or something
Mac "polished" hahaha
I love music but if anyone's ever inspired me to want to perform live it's mac

hes too polished nowadays, man. this was raw
+rolla coasta His Makeout Videotape stuff was even rawer. That Lo-fi style is totally underrated.
it would be beyond amazing if he played his makeout videotape stuff at concerts!!!!!
rolla coasta
Listen to Mac Demarco's heat wave. Pretty much as raw as it gets with him
Mac DeMarco in the early days really had a dirty, some would even say punk rock type sound. I love this earlier stuff

It’s experimental and they’re having fun. They’re getting applause from the audience, so what’s the deal?
