I agree with most of what you said but Corey Taylor was the one that actually started talking crap first so MGK didn’t start that one. As far as his arrogance I think there are a ton of artist out there like that including Eminem who MGK has had beef with but no one gives them as much hate about it as they do MGK.

He's not just doing his own thing. He came into the genre with a chip on his shoulder thinking that he can start shit and get popular like pretty much everyone in rap does. Problem is this isn't rap and that shit doesn't make you popular. That shit might fly on the streets but certainly not here.

As a person past my mid-30's, I couldn't give 2 sh**s what people's opinions are for MGK, or any musician for that matter. I also, don't care what beef they have with who or what their opinions are of others. What matters most is the type of music they put out and MGK puts out, IMO, great music (either genre). I don't compare his (or anyones) music to others. I just take it as it is. All these juvenile comments and opinions aren't needed. (BTW, I honestly had no clue there was such a dislike for him from others until I watched this). Just stick to the music and leave out all the rest ;). Love the reaction Alex!

Nah MGK and BMTH killed it with this song, it’s so catchy and just a straight up head nodder. So good, a healthy mix of both of their styles, I like it a lot!

I also like MGK's music. I get shit for it in the pop punk community for saying "Tickets to my Downfall" is actually a tight record and that I'm curious to hear this new album in full before judgement.
Alot of the pop punk community doesn't want or accepts new stuff. That why it died out so much, hope it comes back even more than it alrdy did :)

For many of us in our late 20's and early 30's we heard songs like plowed by sponge, and nirvana and bush . We may have fallen more with artist like lp and breaking ben disturbed and mudvayne . Bmth is a sound to a degree of the previous bands towards a newer generation of music.
You f*ing nailed it, LP was once my all time favourite time and almost all the music I used to listen to in my teen days. The fact that Oli Sykes is actually a fan of Chester is what first drove my attention about them, and when they began changing their sound to something a little more mainstream but most of all when they began developing the sound they have today (since Amo and the EP Music To Listen To) I began to appreciate these dudes and Oli in particular for what he is and how much he's evolved in a personal way, I'm happy and proud for him

Bro, im 34 and u just listed like 4 of my top 20 fav bands. I love NuMetal and BMTH to me is a progression of that sound. Mudvayne, Korn, Hed P.E., SOAD, Nirvana, Disturbed, Powerman5000, Static-X, Prodigy, Linkin Park, Stabbing Westward and especially Bush. - My growing up music.
@@ThaLostVerse Sempiternal isn't an album that I dig that much, maybe Hospital For Souls, And The Snakes Start To Sing or Empire are the only songs that I like from that album. That's The Spirit, Amo and specially Survival Horror are my favourites
BMTH is one of my fave bands and I do like MGK. I think Oli and MGK are actually quite similar in the way they are both somewhat uncomfortable with fame and what comes with it. They are eccentric and lyrics come from a emotional place. I love how raw they are.
However the only thing I can’t like about MGK is he can be pretentious which shits me off because I have also seen how down to earth and funny and real he is.
He has a chip on his shoulder. I do like this song but feel it’s more MGK feat Oli Sykes, not BMTH.
