If the Midnight Entity (scariest of them all in my opinion) really had been a TARDIS, I totally would have believed her to be the Master's TARDIS based on how creepy she was lol.

Yup. And honestly, I don't think I'd complain if we got that reveal. I mean, what else could be remotely as satisfying? I think it basically HAS to be a twisted, corrupted TARDIS, or remain a mystery. Pretty much anything else would probably be a terrible reveal. I mean, I have to imagine there's at least 1 other satisfying possibility, but I can't think of it.

I remember hearing a fun fan theory that clara grew up near the Powell Estate and that she may have known rose tyler and mickey smith and that clara's mum may have been friends with jackie tyler! In a short prequel for the series 7 episode The Bells of Saint John, whilst clara's mum is talking to a friend in the park, some people believe that someone can be heard shouting jackie's name. And when the eleventh doctor and young clara are on the swings, a blonde girl and a young boy walk past and some people believe they resemble a young rose and mickey. It's probably completely untrue, but the date of death on ellie oswald's headstone in the episode The Rings of Akhaten is the date of the auton invasion in the series 1 episode Rose, which would imply that they lived near the Tyler's and that ellie was possibly killed during the auton invasion. During the Impossible Girl mystery in series 7 I had a theory that clara was created by rose when she became bad wolf in series 1 in order to keep the doctor safe in the future. Love a good fan theory! Thanks Ellie and Who Culture! 😊😊

Apart from the one about Rory actually being The Master (which I never believed), I’ve never heard of any of these theories. Meanwhile, I always thought that the hand that picked up The Master’s ring was Lucy, The Master’s wife, considering that the woman who did actually pick it up (real name Miss Trefusis) had red nail paint like what Lucy wore. Ironically, both Lucy and Donna (amongst several other major female characters from the revived series, including Missy) were believed to actually have been The Rani, a renegade Time Lady who has also faced off against The Doctor a few times (and even worked with The Master in her first appearance).

And the question of Amy (or Rory, not sure, have to watch the episode again) "whose child it is?", the Doctor takes a moment, then responds with "it's mine", both parents sport a terrified look, then the Doctor adds, "the crib, it's mine". That short confusing moment surely adds to the theory, since the Doctor still left that "important" question unanswered, instead cryptically decided to confuse everyone by answering an earlier question about the crib.

Graham would have been better if he was really the Master, not the Doctor. We were just coming off of Missy's redemption arc, and the Master taking on a human identity and inserting himself into the Doctor's life as a Companion would have followed that progression, letting the Doctor get to know and like Graham and see him as a good person before learning who that good person used to be.

I can't believe nobody has put forth the theory that The Doctor and River Song have a child together . The last part of Silence in the Library, where The Doctor says "There is only one way I can tell you my name." before her death, and earlier in the same episode, when River says " I have never seen him this young." Maybe she knew 14.. And the biggest clue of all is in The Wedding of River Song, when the Doctor asks River " Who are you?" She replies " I'm telling you, can't you read?" and points to the crib/cot. She is the mother of his child, it's a family crib with the family history on it. The Doctor reacts like a lightbulb goes on.. He says " Ohh..we" ( and makes kiss noises ) and then giggles with delight. From that point he treats her very differently. It was also River's cot, as Amy and Rory live in the TARDIS, Thus the old embroidered memento shaped like a leaf. My bet is the only way the Doctor can tell someone his name, is to make a new life, a baby, with them. I would guess the child is born following the Husbands of River Song in those 24 year long night..

While I'm not sure the Master-Rory theory was ment to be correct, there HAS to have been some dropped story line involving Rory being something else than he seemed. There were far too many seemingly intentional implications that something was up for this not to be the case, such as the headache-thing, and when he accidentally said they "used to" travel with the Doctor while still doing it.

    • @alexandercharizard3617
      @alexandercharizard3617 11 місяців тому +13

The "used to" in the god complex is a symbol that he considered his and amys life to be beyond the doctor. At that point they live their domestic live and only occasionally travel in the tardis. Most of their journeys together are in the past ("used to") and only very few are in the future. This is not a reference to rory being something else, but just an acceptance that he is growing out of this phase of his live. The doctor himself realizes this in this exact episode.

The timeless children made the timelord's regeneration ability a genetic trait stolen from the timeless child rather than being a result of being conceived in a Tardis. Hence unpalatable as it may be this change seems to point to the Doctor being River Song's father since she was able to regenerate and he was the only one around with this genetic trait - unless of course Rory really was the Master.

    • @Paradox-es3bl

Considering the power Rose gets from absorbing the Heart Of The TARDIS, nah it's definitely plausible that amy getting/being pregnant while traveling in the TARDIS could result in a "time baby." They also said before "The longer someone travels in a TARDIS, the more 'time particles' will be around them." or something. Doesn't 10 use the old school red and blue 3D glasses to see them on himself and Rose in the New New New New New York on New Earth or whatever? I actually wish regenerations in NuWho happened more like this. It's weird for them to be mortally wounded but then just go on for days/weeks (in some cases like Tennant and Capaldi) before actually going through the process.
It's just one of many things NuWho ruined about regeneration along with the destructive power of it (makes no sense, especially to the extent Matt Smith's Doctor's regeneration did to the Dalek ships), the ability to heal others, and being able to regenerate at any time even without injury. The Doc could shoot energy from his hands at any time to get out of scrapes if he had to.

There's another theory that John Frobisher from the Torchwood Children of Earth series is actually a Chameleon Arch disguised Twelfth Doctor. The theory posits that after Clara "dies", the Twelfth Doctor tries to run from his grief by sealing away his psyche for a bit. Like a holiday or something. The TARDIS sets him up in early 21st century Britain as John Frobisher, a civil servant with a pretty mundane life but ties to the PM due to his innate need to stick close to "fixed point events" that might need a helping hand. He finds a wife, has kids, and becomes embroiled in the 456 conspiracy. The Doctor's inner subconscious keeps fighting with Frobisher's over going along with putting children at risk for the PM's plan, resisting and becoming somewhat increasingly erratic. He even goes overkill against Torchwood, because The Doctor's knowledge that Jack and Torchwood are the real deal manifests as Frobisher "wanting to be sure". Eventually after the Prime Minister orders Frobisher to submit his children to the 456, he has a mental breakdown. The Frobisher personality has struggled with the increasingly bizarre and traumatising events the past week, and The Doctor's psyche is trying to force its way out to deal with the situation and save the children. Frobisher ends up killing his children and wife to spare them from the 456, and The Doctor's psyche/self-preservation instincts kick in to knock himself out before the final suicidal gunshot can hit its target. The PM's staff wondering where Frobisher and his family have gone would investigate and (internally) announce they were found dead.Supposedly some mishmash delirious Frobisher/Doctor personality almost entirely fuelled by self-preservation and mindless determination to get back to the safety of the TARDIS would then (amidst the confusion and chaos) slip out of the clean-up by the government, and stumble back to his TARDIS, collapsing inside. He'd awake much later, confused about what's transpired, but conclude it was likely a residual effect of the memory loss device employed with Clara.
The theory doesn't really hold up, but only seems to exist to answer two questions: Why does Twelve (whose resemblance to Caecillius, another Capaldi character in the Whoniverse was strongly focused on) not have a reason for looking exactly like Frobisher? And why didn't The Doctor get involved with the 456, especially considering kids were at risk? The Chameleon Arch putting Twelve as Frobisher who becomes a focal (but tragically unwilling pawn/victim) part of the 456 crisis answers the first, and supposedly the Tenth Doctor (the active one at that time specifically)'s TARDIS would have instinctively known from the timelines to steer clear of a future version of itself and a disguised human version of the Twelfth Doctor going through some shit (and unfortunately letting Ten know about human kids getting abducted and abused for decades or longer would have just complicated matters dramatically). There's too many plot holes with the theory, but it's one I've seen circulating around regarding Frobisher.

@@chubby_deity3143You might be confusing the Chameleon Circuit with the Chameleon Arch.
The Chameleon Arch is a derived technology from the Chameleon Circuit that the TARDIS uses to blend with its surroundings. The Chameleon Arch transforms a TimeLord into, essentially, a human being-not just in appearance, but also genetically, as shown in the “Human Nature/Family of Blood” storyline, where the Family of Blood was not able to locate the bio markers of the Doctor while he was using the Chameleon Arch.

Let's be honest, 13 going out with "tag you're it" is Chibnall's best writing for Whitaker, sad it came at the end. I honestly wished the writing for 13's seasons had been better, I was all for a female Doctor had the writing been good also I would have loved to have seen an interaction between 13 & River Song, that, in the words of River would have been "a whole different birthday". Though that line always stuck out to me, knowing what we know about River and the Doctor and how they never meet in the correct order, is she alluding to a past birthday celebration with the Doctor in they have an adventure with River as multiple incarnations? Certainly would make for a cool anniversary special or even Christmas special idea, hell it could also mean that perhaps River has witnessed one of the Doctor's regenerations and it happened on her birthday I could imagine that the self confessed "perfect psychopath" would thrill at the idea of witnessing the Doctor's change. Oh well fun to speculate but is probably just River fantasizing over meeting multiple Doctors at the same time or just a throw away line that isn't meant to go anywhere.

I'm not sure about the conspiracy theory side of it (don't take it personally, I feel that way about all of them ;)), but I 100% agree regarding the "Tag, you're it!" line. That said _so much_ about her! Self-assured, confident without being too arrogant, and with a great sense of humour!
Up till then the men had been reluctant at best, but she even went with a beautiful smile. And she didn't burn up the TARDIS like other NuWho docs insist on doing!

Ok but can we all just collectively imagine how heartbreaking it would have been if Journey’s End was David’s actual regeneration?
Spending all that time pining after Rose, he finally reunites with her, only to be gunned down by a stray Dalek - regenerating and then going through the usual process of post-regen amnesia? The pain Rose would have felt as he stared into her eyes with no recollection? 😭

What if Doctor/Ruth was actually The Doctor's Daughter? It kinda makes sense. Their DNA would match because she was cloned from the Doctor's cells. Jenny was born in a War so that would make her more like Ruth. She would model her Tardis exterior after her father's to honor him. It would look different inside because she never actually went in. But, why would she call herself the Doctor? Maybe to honor her father. Maybe to remember him. Or maybe it's one of the only things she remembered after her regeneration. The name Doctor.
It also explains Why the Doctors don't know about their past lives.

Jack is River Song, post-nanogene facelift.
Too many parallels between the two, and their obsessions with the Doctor(s).
He is immortal, and after a few centuries, he gets a “facelift” thanks to nanogenes, in order to avoid meeting himself, avoid someone else, or just because he felt his old face was boring. Simple transition to a female form and “Hello, Benjamin!” He then tracks down the Doctor once more, playing coy about their previous times together and the chase begins anew.
I may have put enough thought into this to write a short fanfic. *whistles innocently*
Alternatively, Jack is the child of River and Doctor, which explains why 9/10 humored him, but brushed off his flirtations.

Amy & Rory’s timeline is an alternate time bubble, created by Kovarian/Silence/W.Angels/Random Villain (House?)
The whole arc is not involved in any other Whoniverse project, past or present, and very self contained.
Sure, we see Daleks, Cybermen, and whatnot, but other than SJA: Death of the Doctor, we don’t see 11’s run reference anything else he’s done, unlike every Doctor before and since, Library excepted. We don’t even get a hint of the Master!

Who, family tree of life and everything. 60 years ago, an elderly gentleman emerged from a junkyard of conspiracies of his origins across time and the universe from a different dimension, not our universe according to his own story he also said he and his granddaughter Susan were from a future time where the law of time were out of sync with earth reality, as far as his story goes his memories weren't good at his great age when he first appeared about 169, in fact he was a young time lord in his first appearance so believed? As for honest facts, the doctors never lie? They do have a brain that works differently to humans and merely see things differently. A witness to historical events and future events and knowledge of all forms of life in any universe and have seen everything in ways unexplainable with the powers of the mental abilities of ESP, and possibly from a collective consciousness of other time lords.
Family connections as we know the Doctor has a granddaughter Susan Foreman. On the gates to the junkyard, the sign says I. E . FOREMAN, in the first episode, we see it is the name of our doctor ( I ) ( E )?
Susan does later marry, and I believe she has a daughter and son. Both are possible now in their 50s and living on a different world. The daughter might have a daughter to? Here's where I have a crazy idea she is actually the woman the masters wife? Or is she Rorys mother? Or possibly Amy's grandmother? Everything has s oddly collective theories?

He treasured his granddaughter...and perhaps he felt just as strong about her mother. Her mom was a feminist leaning person who like her craved travel and insane danger. When called back to Gallifrey, there was a secret he didn't what his companion to see. Could it be the evidence to the fact that Sarah, an orphan earthling with whom the Doctor felt an immense bond was more than just a friend. maybe she was left by the Doctor as a baby to be cared for outside of his influence?
Could it be she was the Doctor's DAUGHTER.

How can River exist if her dad does Not? 2 an extension of the 1st is Amy jumping 11's bones on her pre wedding night, and that Rory does not come back into reality until AFTER that night. 3 it makes no sense how they could create River as a timelord without some time lord DNA. Donna discovers the doctor again coincidence at the same time the Dr regenerated....so the doctor from earth 2 (rose earth) gets pulled into the main universe....
Meaning he has nothing knowledge beyond his last episode apart from what Rose may have told him during any future cross overs after...
At the end he will be returned back to rose and the universe fully closed Meaning no more rose cameos ever. Finally close that chapter.
Allows an end to the "I don't want to go" Tennant. Resolve the 2nd universe doctor and rose story.....
