I've been amazed by the 70s analogue synth pulses that came out of mine, along with the excellent cellos, flutes & marimbas. it's a real instrument, & misbehaves really nicely.
Brilliant demonstration thanks so much. I was wondering what you used to sequence the Steamepipe with? I’m still waiting for my Steampipe to arrive. Videos like this are so inspiring. Thanks again, kind regards Mick. 🇦🇺
@MichaelHarper-o9o Good on you for ordering one! Congrats and cheers to that. :) These patterns was sequenced on the Torso T1. My favourite tonal device.
@ Thanks for the reply, it is much appreciated. I’m hoping to pick it up tomorrow. Currently I’m trying to prevent my head from exploding from an overload of ideas. Kind regards Mick. 🇦🇺
Thanks! :) All settings on all knobs reflect the actual sounds as heard in all parts. If you have a Steampipe, you can set the knobs to same positions as shown to replicate any given part. The sound in part 2 is heavily affected by full resonance, making for the sort of singing background vocal effect along with the envelope filter sweep bark. Effect is just a bit of the internal reverb on medium size setting. The overdrive sound comes from breakup in the feedback loop, affected both by gain/push and all the other settings in the feedback loop (lowest 3 out of 5 rows on the synth interface).
Nice!

Misbehaving is so crucial to a musical instrument! That is so good to hear!
Exactly the demo I was hoping to hear once more people got it! Been on the fence for grabbing one, sounds great though! THANKS!
Seems like a lot of fun :)
This was actually a good demo. Thanks for sharing.

Great sounds m8!
Loved this demo. Just for clarity, could you break down sound 2 please? How you built it and with what effects? Thank you! 🙏

@@anordenstamits first class. My favourite and takes me on a journey. Interested to know your method of sequencing? I’m 90% ready to buy 👏
@@TheAtticRocks The lovely Torso T1 was used for these patterns.
