This would be one of my favourite exercises at the moment for myself personally and also using with many people suffering with hip pain. Obviously this is not something I would start with as I need to use much simpler exercises to build up to this point, but this is one of those exercises that really ties everything together at the end and restores the ultimate goal of improving movement efficiency for it mimics it so greatly.
