I think the tops, heels, & toes of the stockings in white would have been really cute. This was a good experiment, though. Coloring your stamps with mica, markers, etc. before hand works great, too. Thanks for showing us all. Happy Creating!!!

YES, it works so well in resin I just make sure that the stamp has a good suction. I made a resin piece the other day & I thought I lost the stamp in the resin but there was just a thin layer over the stamp that it came right out!

I use mica powders when I do mine & have also used posca pens. For the mica powers after i put them down I put a sealant over them so they would stay put. I love hearing your excitement with this & as always beautiful!!

Claire, I love that red...perfect! What fabulous detail! Been wanting to try those stamps in resin, but just dragging my feet on getting any. BTW, to keep your stamps from floating, you can use a few drops of UV resin to 'glue' them down, first. I've seen others do that. It isn't hard to get them out of resin, either. Oh, and chameleon powders work beautifully in them!
Yeah, I think a white outline would have worked better. Thank you for taking one for the team! 😅

I would never have thought you could use stamps like that. When you first demoulded the tray I thought hmmm not loving it but then you removed the stamp as well and it was like ‘ahhhhhhhhhh’ would the detail was incredible. Could you then use those metallic powders to colour in the stamped part? This is a great new addition to your techniques and opens up a whole new world of designs now!! Fantastic idea!

Now you need to do another video to fix it.
Why not paint it the way you like it, use a little bit of white and black paint and then pour a very thin layer of clear epoxy over it. It seems like a trinket tray should have a smooth surface anyway.
I thought that's what you were going to do. It's cute.. it's just not finished in my opinion.
