Ian Flynn killed it with the metal virus arc. I never stop being on the edge of my seat when reading these comics.
Did he start this arc when the pandemic started? Because I feel like I missed out on a lot. And this is starting to look a little… familiar.
@@Samgreen90 Actually, I think it was pretty close. The first issue to have the metal virus infect someone (rough and tumble) came out in 2019. I think....
ok so about cream's ability to spin dash
it actually made clear she can do that in her debut (sonic advance 2), in the game she is a jack of all traits master of demolishing robots (because cheeze is OP in that game)
she can fly like tail, cheeze is powerful like knuckles and amy, and she can spin dash like sonic
she also was probably tutored after the events of sonic advance 2 by sonic and the group farther increasing her skills in this aspects

It's was funny and at the same time very sweet the way Whisper hugged Tangle, Whisper maybe the silent type that doesn't do mushy stuff but at times she really does care about her friends, which is the sweetest and most heartwarming thing I've ever seen. 1:12:59 😊😊😊🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤❤
You know, I can't blame espio for snapping at sonic like that. Him sparing metal sonic created this whole mess in the first place, even though Sonic and his friends didn't expect Starline being able to bring him back. This reminds me of what frieza said to Goku when he spared him. Sometimes mercy's only value is to it's foe.
Also, this is literally the walking dead, sonic edition. I love how all the characters are stressed and frustrated to the situation happening around them. And I think stayed up (naps don't count) for four or five days during this arc. He did constantly kept running at high speeds. It was so unhealthy for Sonic's body.

The reason I agree with Sonic on this in particular is because him showing mercy has led to enemies being allies even friends repeatedly. Knuckles, Shadow, Gemeral. If Sonic just killed his enemies when he could. They'd all be dead.

Yes! Been looking forward to this, love all y’all reactions to these idk comics. Adrenaline dubs did a fantastic job with Dubbing these comics. As I was watching these videos myself the more I just kept getting hype for Frontiers as Ian Flynn the man behind a lot of the fantastic work for Archie comics also did these amazing idk comics is being the writer for Sonic frontiers, story will be one of the best in a long time. Gameplay for it just keeps getting better and better too. 💙
IDW is great you guys. I also make the mistake of calling it "a show" sometimes. But it's just THAT good. I don't think there will be anything that can be remotely as good, or can match the Metal Virus saga anytime soon, but everything that comes next is very very interesting too!
No spoilers, next episodes are in a way, an epilogue to finish off this long arc. I like to view Metal Virus Saga as Season 2 for the IDW show. So what you're about to see, is pretty much the epilogue for what I consider 29 to be the season finale (Season 1 ending on The Battle for Angel Island).

Zeena and her big green hair 🤣🤣I've played Sonic Lost World and I've always noticed how big and green Zeena's hair is, It's hilarious I came up with some funny names like Queen Cucumber, Watermelon Girl, Guacamole Girl, Guava Gal, The Dill Pickles Damsel, and Princess Avocado.

Don't play Lost World because of The Deadly Six though. Ian Flynn did them justice here, but before that, they were notorious as some of the worst Sonic villains.
I know what you're thinking, and Sonic is not dead. In issue#25 Starline did say creating and directing portals with the Warp topaz is difficult and Super sonic using the Warp topaz recklessly could undo the metal virus or it could warp space-time so badly the entire planet collapses, or a third option, like Sonic uses the Warp topaz recklessly as Super Sonic could undo the metal virus or at the same time warp the user i.e Super sonic to another dimension. so really Sonic is alive, not in this world but another, after using the Warp topaz as Super sonic to destroy the metal virus, Sonic must've accidently been warp to another dimension.
