I always loved watching Etika jam out when a banger would come on and there were no compilations that had all the clips I wanted. I made my own using reuploaded clips I stole from UA-cam.

-Classic Sonic Gameplay: Broken. Did they learn nothing from Sonic Mania?
-Classic Sonic Music: Disastrous. Uses cheap, dead genesis soundfonts when Sonic Mania had only recently demonstrated some of the absolute best in Classic Sonic music.
God I miss him. His reactions were always the most entertaining to watch.
He was more than just a reaction channel my friend, much much more. Etika, for many of us, was a dear friend. He was a good man, a man who made so many people happy, and a man who will forever be remembered in thousands of people's hearts.

Etika was truly a special kind of content creator. He didn't have a persona and because of that took on all the pain and criticism of character from putting himself out there for his love of games and music. Truly a tragedy that this world took him from us

Looking at the chat makes me realize how much this man was bullied before finally giving up, every small mistake he makes is followed by L spams and slurs, I miss my boy, why did people feel the need to do this.
It's always pretty sad knowing youtubers like him will never be able to see the new awesome stuff coming out long after their passing. I imagine he wouldve freaked out seeing the final dlc characters of Smash, the plot twists and reveals in Attack on Titan since season 3, and much more.

"I didn't remember this level..." is the testament of Sonic Mania. It is what it is. What it's meant to be. We didn't remember stages like Studiopolis or Press Garden, but now we do.
I'd 1000% have THIS over Sonic Generations, any second of the century.
Mania is 💯 the real Sonic 4, I wish Tee Lopes would've helped with Origins' music which were massacred by Jun Senoue but he was busy with TMNTSR.
I would still have both in my opinion.
As both a musician and a music lover, nor do I only relate to his reactions, but I also react the exact same way he does to the music, like 6:37 for example, I swear to god my face is the exact same when that synth solo comes in. It's so naturally orgasmic. He does indeed love what's he's listening, and his reactions are so organic and his body so in tune with the music and the rhythm. How not to love him?

This man creating a community for other like-minded individuals like himself to openly love games, their soundtracks, anime, et cetera was the wake up call for me to stop being ashamed of loving what I love and to be myself openly and shamelessly since I wouldn’t meet anybody who shares these passions otherwise. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to emphasize just how much of an impact this man had on me by merely being himself in front of the camera for others like him to see and identify with. I will always be beyond grateful for his contribution to the world and will miss him immensely.

This ended up in my recommended randomly today. I clicked on it and had a bittersweet moment. I hadn't been able to watch any videos with him in it for the longest time because it felt so bad, but today i could watch and remember and smile. I still miss him as i think we all will. But im happy that i can visit these memories with a smile now. I like to think he'd want that for us.
