I love this album so much!! I’m almost 30 and A-ha has been my favorite band of all time. People in my country think they’re a one-hit wonder and then I show them receipts~ this album gives me gothic-Castlevania vibes and I’m here for it fam
i love this album. I love Pal on vocals. Been a AHA fan since the beginning in 1985 and still an AHA fan to this day . My faves of the band AHA are 1. Pal Waaktaar -Savoy 2. Magne Furuholmen 3 Morten Harket. ❤️🇳🇴AHA FOREVER 🇳🇴❤️
Hi Alison, I agree with all details you wrote, and also an a-ha fan since 1985! The biggest a-ha fan I've ever known in person asked me in 1988 which member I liked, best and I said Pal Waaktaar-Savoy. Do you know why in recent years I tend to see Pal's name written "Paul"? Do you think that was maybe because some people had been mispronouncing it? I've been suspecting he prefers the way you wrote it and that Magne prefers "Magne" over "Mags" but had a nickname that stuck. Have a nice scoundrel day!
@@shiroibasketshoes I think Pal changed his spelling to his name to Paul maybe he got fed up of people calling him Pal. Plus he is called Paul Waaktaar-Savoy as his wife's surname is Savoy. Magne Maybe Magne sounds more grown up as Mags
@@shiroibasketshoesI guess Pal just erases anything that is Norwegian in himself. I've heard that in America he goes by the name Paul Savoy. Just that, without the Norwegian part. Besides, his real last name is not Waaktaar either. His original last name is Gamst.
@@victoriasmalikova6229 To me, that makes less sense than if an American like me wanted to act more and more Norwegian. The media in whatever country pushes American things so much anyway. If I was Pal, I’d be acting more proud of my country’s heritage. But I’m not him, and it’s his business. I’ll still always be a fan of his artistry and of a-ha in general. (And I’d reply to anyone who misstated...at least if misstated to me... the lyric is “in a day or two,” not “now date my take” or whatever incorrect guess.) Thanks for his real last name.
Progressive A-ha... wow... wonderful
Que incrível somente saber disto décadas depois. soube que Take On Me teve origem progressiva com esta banda.

@@thisisnotme7017 Thank you; I think those are good theories and likely true.

This could be The Soft Parade by The Doors, Superb !!! Every time I listen to this album it grows on me more on more.
a trick: you can watch series at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching all kinds of movies these days.
@Merrick Lawrence Definitely, been using flixzone for since december myself :D
Absolute wonderful song!!!!!!😍😍
Doors spirit !
Yes, Pal and Magne were very influenced by The Doors!
Superb!
It sounds like Pal was channelling the "inner Doors" However I do know Magne was a Doors fan
