Turn to Stone (Extended EPJ Mix)

- Back in June 2019, when we recorded the episode for "Turn to Stone," I said I would love to make an extended version of it. The hold up has been finding an instrumental that would blend with the finished version.
A couple days ago I found one that was...good enough for now (until Eniac records an instrumental version someday.)
So I finally made that extended mix stitching together parts from the "Out of the Blue Instrumental Medley," "The ELO Megamix", the "Turn to Stone" instrumental on UA-cam, "Turn to Stone" from Out of the Blue, and the Mr. Blue Sky album, and I threw in a snippet from "Hello My Old Friend."
The instrumental sounds a bit phasey, but I'll use the excuse that I'm recreating that late '70s flange sound, and not because I couldn't get a cleaner copy of it.
Critique away. Be as nitpicky as you want.

Fun track but why the disruptive rapid "gunfire" sound (ex: 0:50, and repeated throughout). Snaps you (me, at least!) right out of the groove.
It's a quick segue between the 1977 and 2012 versions.
Same noise my computer makes when I've got several tabs open and post something on one of them.😕 Thought at first it was because I did something. Yeah, it's jarring.

Very nice! I liked the use of various tracks on the song, and the additional instrumental material which blended so well. The phasey part seemed to fit right in.
The glitches at 0:51, 3:21, and 4:00 were offputting, though.
I wasn't too thrilled with the drum hits section from 2:34 to 2:40. That's just a personal opinion, though. And I thought the transition of parts at 3:15 was a little rough.
The last two things are just minor. Get rid of those glitches and it'll put this mix over the top.
