Dan is amazing! I am a PK (Preacher's Kid) and was in church in utero. My family is also very musical. I play several instruments and sing. I've heard this performed in hundreds (if not thousands) of ways throughout my lifetime. My beloved Granny played the harmonica beautiful and as a teenager at family gatherings, we'd gatger around the piano (which I played) and would sing as she played harmonica and I played piano and this gives me chills EVERY SINGLE TIME I hear it! I try to listen to it once a day if not more! It is, IMHO, the hands-down best version ever performed. I feel like all of Heaven stopped to listen! I also believe that Dan was meant to sing this song "for such a time as this ". When the world grows darker and more tumultuous by the day/hourI can't wait to sing this in Heaven together to our Heavenly Father!! No worries...the first time ANY of us hear Dan sing this son, we were ALL crying, and...yeah...the chills. It's called the anointing of God. I'm really glad to know that your spirit got lifted. God and Dan both are REALLY good about helping out in that type of situation. Since I heard Dan sing this one, I've gone through his entire channel twice and more, and I NEVER get tired of hearing his take on the different songs, and listening to his wonderful voice. There are a few that aren't my favorites, but I think those are only three. Basically, I could just sit and listen to Dan sing, all day, any day.

Dan is one of most talented and versatile singers I’ve ever heard. He can sing any genre from metal to opera and his covers are often better than the original. Some of my favs are Bring Me to Life, Toss a Coin to Your Witcher, Burn Butcher Burn, Hallelujah, and Bring Me to Life 🔥🔥🔥

If posting a reaction to a 252 year old hymn that is loved the world over,performed by a man to honor his late father at Easter, can be blocked for copyright law that did not exist at the writing,and the artist has no complaint…then we are truly in troubled times.
Never hide the tears this song brings to your eyes,I am sixty eight years old,and even now I can not. This by far is the most moving rendition I have ever heard. He gives this hymn the respect and reverence it deserves,while at the same time giving the power and conviction it has always been meant to hold.
Another comment here suggests his ‘Hallelujah’ chorus,please do…and also his ‘Angels We Have Heard On High’. Both are well worth hearing.

Dan has stated several times that he doesn’t care about copyright issues.... He wants people to share his work, no worries when you react to any Dan Vasc videos. Another trait of a Godly man, it’s not about the love of money for him, but spreading the Gospel through his anointed voice, in my opinion.

Okay Rickk!! This is the first time I recall watching one of your reactions. I loved how your entire being was taken over by Dan's interpretation of these very sacred song. I feel the same way every time I listen to it. Those are not regular tears. They are drops of God's Love as His Spirit flooded through you! Never been ashamed whoever this happens. I think he was talking about property taxes. Those are usually (in any state in which I've lived, and that's four, and in different places in all four of them, the first half of the property taxes is due by the end of May, and the second half is due by the end of October (or a similar pattern to that). Usually, we pay ours fully, at the time to send in the first half. This year, we had to break it up, and were very thankful we were able to get the second half paid...two days before it would have been overdue. Thank you, Lord!
