- I singed the Old Rugged Cross for my grandmothers funeral. It was one of her favorites. It has always had sentimental value for me, but that's not the only reason I love the song. Ultimately, the cross was something people would look upon with horror, but because of Jesus it is the symbol of salvation, triumph, and love. May i never sing about or dwell on the cross without genuine awe and gratitude.

We never know what one goes through to get where they are in the present. My brother Jesus has done a beautiful thing in your soul. He tells us that from the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. I have been listening to some of Steve W.'s YT videos. I loved the 79 yr old woman Vivian singing w/ Steve.
I do have an odd question i haven't found an answer about yet.
All Steve's 'tattoos' seem to have been done in the last two years. What is the story about that? Just seems odd for there to be sooo many & so dark, yet i have found no info about the why of the tattoos.
