It's a ridiculous amount of work that typically involves high dollar camera drops, blue-screen-of-death computer crashes, and at least one angry shotgun wielding old man shouting, “Hey! Get the hell outta here!” Once the final video is posted, rewards here on UA-cam are few and far between (unless you are a masochist who enjoys being verbally abused by anonymous trolls). Long Long Honeymoon - in addition to being newbies enjoying your videos, we are artists & humanitarians from NH and would like to share info with you about what Arts4Humanity will be doing in association with RV travel, live music, original art and free promotion for helpful sites & channels like yours..a4hpros@gmail.com
We've been students of LoLoHo University for about 2 years. We just graduated this year! We bought an Airstream in August and the adventure has begun. You've been our inspiration and guidse as we figured out "how to" and "where to get it." So, thank you for the great information, tips and tricks, links to must-have-items. Maybe we'll see you on the road one day. ;-)
I know this video is a few years old but I do would like to make a comment. I have watched all your videos up to this point and love the relatability you Both have to share to me and the RV community. These videos do help in every way and will for years to come. I have Rv'd early in my days with my grandparents and taught me many tips and tricks during that time. Now, I purchased an RV back in 2014 to start again and with your help and wisdom, Its so much more comforting to go out and explore with a better understanding and confidence. Thanks very much as I will continue to keep watching.
Have been to all the places in the video over the years. Started traveling with the kids on long weekends and vacations with a $350.00 truck and a $1200 20' trailer. Used these for about 10 years. Continued to upgrade..Put 18000 miles, using a 37" fifth wheel, traveling across the U.S. I don't recommend crossing the George Washington bridge in N.Y. at 5 pm. We are not full timers. We have found we like to be home after a month or two. Would recommend anyone considering full timing, try it out before selling your house. Happy trails. Bob and Brenda
This couple is without doubt the most informative people that there is when it comes to RVing any where in the USA. Watching them not only is informative, recreational but an absolute delight. Antonio, the 18 wheeler Antonio, the 18 w
Just a note to thank you for these wonderful UA-cams. My wife and I are about to buy our first RV. It'll be a Class B, so different from your Airstream, but so many of the tips and recommendations are fully applicable. We've learned a lot from you, and we are quite sincerely grateful!
+Michael Krauss thanks for your kind post. And I agree with you, most of the RV travel/lifestyle info applies regardless of what specific RV you choose. Sure there are a few differences from rig to rig, but the bulk of the knowledge applies to us all. 👍
This is my first year RVing and I retire in a couple of years. I love the places you mentioned and have to add them to my bucket list. I really enjoy your videos and have learned a lot. Walmart parking lots have become my new favourite overnight spots for a good sleep. I never would have thought of that before. Thank you.
Love your channel...I'm 78 and getting ready to hit the road again.. Did a lot of raving in my earlier years. Miss it a bunch, so going to hit it for 8 to 9 months a year. Have 35 ft Cougar and a Ford crew cab. Looking forward to some good times. Dale
Excellent list! I took a sabbatical, bought a 26' class C and traveled the country for nine months hitting 38 states and driving over 18,000 miles. Amazing experience. I didn't make it to Santa Fe but did stay at the Walmart in Las Cruces and visited White Sands National Monument. New Mexico is an amazingly beautiful area. Its also the only place were I drove for over two hours with no cell reception as it was so remote. Bar Harbor is spectacularly beautiful. A must visit. I went in February during the off season. Nearly everything was closed but that also meant zero crowds and not a single person in my landscape photos. From what the locals told me summer is disastrously crowded. Something like 26 cruise ships coming in every week. No thank you. In Bar Harbor the Side Street Cafe was great and open all year round. Ate there three times and was never disappointed. If you're in Bar Harbor you have to drive up to West Quoddy Lighthouse. Easternmost point in the US and allows you to see remote Maine. Key West was very beautiful. Stayed at Boyd's Key west. My spot was feet from the water so my back yard was the ocean. Nothing like seeing the sun come up over the Atlantic from your bed. Didn't make it to Alaska. Had to leave something on the to do list. Grand Teton was breathtaking. We ended up with photos that are jaw dropping. Stayed at Colter Bay campground, the National Park one. Great facilities for the family. If anyone is thinking about doing this or is already doing it let me give you one recommendation. Get the app, "Allstays Camp and RV." It IS the one stop shop for all things you'll need while on the road. It was invaluable and the best thing I purchased for my trip. I couldn't have done my trip without it.
Just really think you two provide intelligent and practical information in an honest and humorous way. I've learned so much being a newbie. Thank you.👍
Good evening, I really have to agree: Teton and Yellowstone are the best places on earth - we visited in 2012, all the way from Montreal Canada, and we really had a great time! Vues are unbelievable! Nature is right there in front of you! We did the rockies right after and found that part to be amazing as well! Now, we need to retire to see Alaska! Can't wait! Camping is such a great time always! Thanks for your advice!
Remi Tremblay Thanks for your comment! Yes, Alaska is wonderful too. You will enjoy the drive up the Alaska Highway. We absolutely loved our time in the Yukon territory, as well as British Columbia. The scenery and wildlife are incredible.
Northern New Mexico is beautiful. We loved Taos. The Taos Pueblo and Kit Carson home are well worth a visit. Also the high road from Santa Fe to Taos is a gorgeous drive and has many very old mission churches along the way.
Thanks a million for your videos, my wife of 44 years and I are sitting in a campground in Arizona, trying to avoid the snow at home In South Dakota. This is our first time being snow birds, so it is all new to us. We are learning very much from your video's and to tell the truth, we watched many before we left home for our adventures, in fact were it not for yours and a few other youturbers we would probably still be up north shoveling snow and freezing instead of taking long walks in the desert sun.
My wife and I are going to get our first RV and start traveiing the US. We went to France and New Zealand last year, so it's nice to hear you guys travel abroad too.
Thank you all so much for your videos! My RV shopping excursion began about 2 months ago and consisted of mostly youtube research for the first month. I very quickly subscribed to your channel and have been able to jot down some great tips. Now, I go Friday to pick up my 28 ft camper and can't wait to get on the road!
My wife and I live here in Alaska and have been following your videos for years. I was out of state however when you were here. What a bummer. Would have love to have met you both. You do an excellent job of sharing your experiences out on the road. Wife and I looking to retire in a couple of years to a motorhome and hope our paths cross somewhere in your travels. Thanks again.
Thanks. I have a ton of footage from Alaska and want to do something special with it. We may try to pull together a feature length documentary about the experience. Overall, we loved that trip! It was our best and most ambitious Airstream adventure for sure. Thanks for following our channel and for taking the time to comment.
For this newbie into RVing at age 55, your videos are extremely helpful and informative. I am Hoosier-born but North Carolina raised so hearing the low-South perspective is refreshing. I am keeping detailed notes so we will be ready to go when we buy our first camper. Just bought the F150 so ready to start. Best advice I have heard so far is, enjoy RVing your not at the office, no rush, you are pulling your bedroom so stop, and don't expect to start RVing and have everything at the beginning, make mistakes and make a list of what not to do and what to do, enjoy RVing with your special someone.
i JUST RAN ACROSS YOUR VIDEO for the first time AND WHEN i READ THE TITLE.....I said I've got to see if these people mention WYOMING!!!! and you DID!!! Its your number one choice!! I'm born and raised in the South....But I think I could honestly Live in Wyoming!! 💖💖💖 Enjoyed your video!!
Found about your videos from a couple we go to church with. Jeff Hartley and Donna Lowery told us your story about how you got started doing this. We actually purchased an RV last May and recently retired and looking forward to traveling. As "newbies" we have learned quite a bit from your videos. THANKS! Connie and Steve Pate
Maine is great. My summer home is in Burnham, Me. I've also got a 2 homes in Vermont. I love Me, Vt and NH. I'm a native New Englander. I guess thats why I like it here so much. This is my last winter here in Vt, I'm headed south next Oct. for the winter, but I'll be back here come April. I had to buy some heavy weight clothes when I was in Glacier national park. The weather there can change in a heart beat. 60 above to 0 degrees in 15 minutes. Never ran so fast to get off a mountain in my life. Thank you so much for all the great advice, it will come in handy when I get on the road.
Hi Sean and Christie, Thanks for the tip. Gros Ventre was a great campground! We went in late June and the cottonwoods were dropping so much fuzz my son renamed it "Snow Ventre". Colter Bay campground was also fun. In fact because Yellowstone was full, we used Colter Bay as a base of operations for our visit to both the Tetons and Yellowstone Parks. Again thanks for the great videos. Sten and Joy Mander
Sten Mander Thanks for your note! We've stopped at Colter Bay several times, but it always seems to be full. We'll try later this summer...though I predict we'll end up at Gros Ventre as usual!
Loved the video as I have dabbled with the used Airstream market myself...thanks for the information. By the way, I was a fraternity brother of yours way back so good to see you again!
Thanks Brother Shaver, great to hear from you. :-) Good to see you too. (Please forgive the slow reply - we're just returning from a long journey with very little Internet access!)
My pleasure. If you ever have any questions about Airstream ownership, please don't hesitate to ask. The wife and I just returned from a major trip and will have some fresh video online soon...
I've been to Wyoming but never to Yellowstone. I've watched videos of the Huge Magma below old faithful just waiting to explode, I mean it's a gigantic pocket. Tourist also seem to get to close to the Bison and they are dangerous. I know it's a wonder place to visit from what I've gathered from other folks and watching videos. Thanks for the adventure footage once again and your favorite RV sites. You two are really pioneers of RVing. True adventurist and loving to share it all with us. Wow!
+Larry Pierce thank you Larry! Well, if you haven't yet made it to Yellowstone and the Tetons, in some ways I envy you -- because you can look forward to a wonderful adventure! Definitely plan to visit both parks when you go. 👍
I feel vindicated. 😊 The Grand Tetons is my all time favorite place. I’ve tried to explain to people what you get when you go there but that list is so long. Thank you for saying it for me. I’d like to add that for art lovers, the National Wildlife Museum is just outside of Jackson and there are myriad photo galleries in town as well.
FYI....ocean water is clear everywhere(or basically clear)! The visual of the water looks different colors based on the depth of the ocean floor....turquoise looking water means shallow depth...black looking water means very deep
Just wanted to thank you for your guidance on southern Utah. We just returned from the Mighty5” and went and stayed exactly where you two recommended. This was our first major trip in our Airstream Interstate Grand Cruise and the entire trip was spectacular. Thanks you again. John and Diane
We are going on our first RV cross country TRIP OCTOBER 12-November 12 with a 25’ rental. So excited to see Yellowstone/great Tetons even more so after watching your videos. We have been tent campers for many years and love the idea of having our home with us. Have been to many state and national parks want to see some we have Love your videos.
When I was four, my family went to the Chapel of the Transfiguration there in Jackson...we went into this forest-service-brown building that had big windows on the other side....but they were covered with plywood. It was meant to be that way, I believe; you stumble around a little, reading various things on the walls, and then you discover the huge windows...and open them. The eyes are still used to the dark when they open....and imagery flies in from the nearby mountain as if you were THERE. I still remember seeing a goat standing on an incredibly small rock on the side of a sheer cliff, looking at me as if to say "Are you guys in from the coast?" I loved that trip- it's why I still go there, in dreams. And when I do, my eye level is that of a four-year-old. :)
+Brian Fahrlander Thanks for sharing your story... We actually attended services at the Chapel of the Transfiguration a coupe of weeks ago. It is a special place indeed. :-)
I am Southern too South Carolina .We went to Breckinridge July 4th a couple of years ago. Drove to Mt. Evans on July 2nd. Lots of snow still on the ground and it snowed on us at the top.
We've recommended your pages to many of our Airstream friends, including a young couple last November who where on the fourth month of THEIR honeymoon in their Airstream.
BTW... Fat Boy is the 2002 Ford 7.3 diesel dually and The Dog House is a 3712TS Keystone Raptor 5th Wheel. I aint Fat but the Truck is, lol...and the Dog House is the 39' Toy Hauler. Yalls channel is Fantastic! Love It!
Boon docking, solar panels, planning before you even hit the road, Maine to the Keys is my dream :), the schooner was beautiful, LOL, ooh balloons, I for one am very excited to see what comes next :)
Really liked the spot you had in the Keys! This year one of our trips is to AK so the Haines info was handy and timely too. About Bar Harbor, if you never made the Schoodick Point drive and area make sure to see it if you go to Bar Harbor again. Most people don't realize that Acadia Park is split by the bay so they never realize that Schoodick even exists. It is so quintessential down east Maine and much quieter than Bar Harbor area is. It has numerous inlets where tall pines and rugged rock meet mirrored waters. You can see bald eagles out there fishing and other wildlife. It's the sort of place you could sit for hours and completely relax.
Phil Harmon we visited Taos this past summer. My brother is working for Earthship Biotecture. We stayed on his property in our trailer. The desert night sky is breathtaking!
Like your top 5! My wife and I have been to Bar Harbor twice, and consider it one of our favorites. Stayed at Bass Harbor both times. We also consider Key West the other of our top two. Stayed on Stock Island once and Grassy Key the second time.
Just want to say, I really enjoy your channel and because of you guys my husband and I are seriously looking at buying an Airstream and we are hoping to be full-timers in the near future. We have a RV now (2003 toy hauler) that we've renovated but when my husband retires for the second time and we can go full time we want to buy an Airstream. Also, my husband has an Excursion with the same 6.0 engine that he's had to "bullet proof", which I think is so funny. Thanks so much for your channel and the information. I especially enjoyed this video because I have always hated the idea of constantly trying to plan ahead and make reservations for every single destination. (I have never wanted a job working at a travel agency and still have no desire to. lol ) It seems too daunting and self-defeating for the lifestyle we have in mind. I know that sometimes it's unavoidable, but it is good to know that there are places that do not require reservations.
Agree with your #1, just got back from back-country camping with my 2 boys, spent last night at Gros Ventre campgrounds. Thanks for the other tips, hopefully we'll be able to make those in the near future.
FYI for you and your readers. On our trip, instead of Haines we visited Skagway, AK. and further south, Hyder, AK via Stewart, B.C. Skagway, a cruise ship stop and beautiful little town, good places to eat and shop. Hyder is real gem with a USFS maintained wildlife viewing boardwalk along the river where you can watch eagles, bear, sometimes wolves feed on spawning salmon. Also great photo shoot at the Salmon glacier. Accessed from BC, Hyder is the last stop heading south that you can visit Alaska! Wild and well worth the trip!
Thanks Jim, great tips! Actually, after visiting Haines we put our Airstream on the ferry and shot over to Skagway. The ferry ride cost some cash but it saved us about 10 hours of driving to get there. We enjoyed Skagway and later drove down to Hyder & Stewart. Alas, we were a little late in the season to see the bears there, but had a great time nevertheless. Cheers and thanks for your comment.
Thanks for the video on the 5 top places. I've done the Key West , Yellowstone , Jackson Hole. Need to work on the rest. Thanks again, you bring back great memories.
Loved the segment on Bar Harbor. Traveled all the way here from Indianapolis, Indiana and currently sitting in the Thirsty Whale drinking a Blueberry Ale in your honor.
Thanks guys...I am currently looking at getting a 5th wheel and traveling full time with my wife..Your videos are not only helpful but entertaining as well...Thanks for taking the time to do all this....Hopefully be on the road iwthing next couple month but total RV Newb here....I am an outdoors person and spent lots of time camping in tents but we are looking forward to getting on the road soon..Thanks again
Thanks for the information. You two are doing what we are hoping to do soon. We, my wife and I, plan to buy a travel trailer in the next couple of months. It will be our first.
Great series, and great choice for your #1 site! We were fortunate to spend a month in a cabin on Antelope Flats earlier this season ... got us hooked into looking at RV's and returning to GTNP & Yellowstone. Have learned much from your videos, book and blogs!
I vote #1 to be Glacier NP. But keep it a secret, it's not crowded. Stunning. When you go to Jackson, a must stop is the "National Museum of Wildlife Art", just north of town. So beautiful. Great local food.
Hey There - West Quoddy Head, ME Is indeed the eastern most point in America. And not just the continental United States either. It’s the most eastern point in all of America. Thanks for mentioning it, I haven’t been there since I was a kid. Cheers mates and happy trails
How could anybody NOT like this - it is like a vacation guide!!!!!!!!! It is almost proof - that there is a God - how could this be so beautiful and located right in my own back yard - in America!!!!! I am a lucky boy!!!!!!!!!!
Loved these locations, and only one we've been close to so far is Haines Alaska, although we spent more time near Seward, where we experienced our first earthquake! The drive out of Skagway was magnificent, but then the whole of Alaska is an adventure in itself we found. We took our daughters to Yellowstone some 20 years ago, so it's time to return, and we'll have to try the Grand Teton region you talked about, it sounds fabulous! Retirement allows for such things, and I'd probably have a million questions on the many places you've been, but I'll continue watching your video's, as you may have answered many of those questions there! Would love to run into you folks on the road one day....you never know! Pleasant travels...and stay safe!
We've enjoyed your UA-cam channel. We've traveled cross country and car camped many times. You've added to our list of places to visit. Appreciate your insights on what and how-to as we're planning to add an RV to our travel arsenal. Thanks. We enjoy your conversational style. Wonder if you've done the trip across the top of Lake Superior? It's one of our most scenic and enjoyable drives. Our home base is Iowa/Minnesota so it's a natural option for us to head east.
I just found your site. I am enjoying your videos and commentary. My wife and I are getting closer to retirement and our goal is to hit the road and see our beautiful country. I want to be debt free when we start so money is not an issue. Still figuring that out. I have many questions and I hope your videos answer them as I progress through them. Safe travels and keep them coming. Thank you.
Awesome channel, thanks for doing what you do. My favorite place to camp is the Mohican area like the state park or the covered bridge area in Loudonville Ohio. Lots of things to do, like, inner tubing down the river, horseback riding, ziplines, there is a couple of castles nearby that you can tour, with a really nice restaurant, several campgrounds around the area, canoeing, kayaks. Very fun place, I was wondering if you have ever been there?
Based on your recs and videos I stayed at Gros Ventre Campground. Just returned after a two week stint; had the best time ever. Thanks for all your shared experiences and wisdom. I will add that the back, dirt roads are great and do not necessarily need a 4X4...great wildlife viewing off the beaten path which is not so beaten compared to the park above.
See your Videos from Germany ! Great Compliments! In June 2017 we visited Jackson, Great Teton and Yellowstone. You gave us the Information we've needed! Best Wishes Rolf
I took a trip from Tennessee to Grand Tetons and Yellowstone this last summer and highly recommend Grand Tetons as well. One of my favorites as well. Loved Jackson too!! I have a teardrop trailer and love it. I would like to eventually get an Airstream Basecamp. Thank you for the great videos. Keep them coming.
Sometimes Airstream makes a floor plan with bunk beds. It might be of interest to you. As might the book "How to Buy an Airstream." :) Cheers and good luck.
Love your list, we’ve done 3 of the 5. Haven’t made it to Alaska or Maine but we stayed in Bluewater (Dry Tortugas!) in Coulter bay and at the sky park in Santa Fe. We would like to recommend however something you have not seen, at least we haven’t seen a review. It is the Supersite in Campland by the Bay in San Diego, CA. Definitely not boondocking! But we love it so much we return every year over spring break. Hope we see you on the road. John and Nikki.
Long Long Honeymoon - This is a great idea, especially for Newbies like us! We're ordering our 2018 LTY UNITY FX the first week of February and will take delivery the end of March +/- when we return from our Chicago to Nawlins Amtrak City of New Orleans trip. After making some cosmetic changes to the interior, I spent 22 years in Central and Mile Marker 0 Florida and I need tropical colors, we plan to hit THE road from Chicago to Springfield Illinois on Route 66. I really enjoyed your 'Top 5' video and hope you continue with it because we'll be looking for places to visit [where the low temp is never below 60F]!! In the mean time, we'll be checking out your other videos for tips and advice. THANK YOU!!
I must say you folks are the best wealth of information about many of the places I have been longing to visit. I have replayed this particular vlog 3 times looking at my map as you talk. Thank you so very much!!!!
Just discovered your wonderful collection of helpful and informative videos. Thank you for taking the time to put them all together! Especially enjoy how positive and approachable you both are in terms of the material and often-times intimidating subject matter of RV-ing. I look forward to putting your tips to the test in many seasons of camping to come. Happy trails!!! - Joe and Megan
Yellowstone is my go to been there over 21 times and planning on doubling that before my final breath. Thanks for the info i will definitely looking into the others your recommended. May I recommend Great Basin National Park as well a very nice and quiet place with the best view of the stars I would say in continental United States most spots are tight but you all know how to get out from being stuck I liked the video peace and long life hopefully see ya out there.
Regarding #3, have you ever taken the trip out to Dry Tortugas Nat'l. Park? That's near the top of my to do list. I was in Haines also, back in '84, when I drove solo to AK. I agree--the Haines Hwy. is amazing! Did you see the Chilkat Dancers?
The wife and I are getting ready to do it. House is gone buying a fifth wheel with the 401k and hitting the road. Can't wait you 2 look so happy with this life style and sure we will be also. Good luck to ya out there and be safe. Will watch all your video's.
Love your style got tickled on one vid saw a bit of text come up "Sean" aka "Brain Cancer Boy" LOVED THAT I audibly laughed it's great to be willing to look at the bright or light hearted side of all things. Love the conversational style feel like we are friends see you on the road would likely approach. Wish you all well love you guys particularly wish Sean well w/health issues will be praying for you I know THE healer He loves you beyond imagination.
Gros Ventre area of Wyoming brought back many memories. I spent 6 weeks in the area in 1986 building hiking and riding trails for the Dept of Interior. Has the pleasure at staying in a "City Slicker" ranch called Darwin Ranch owned by Loring Woodman at the time. A breathtaking area to be sure. Thanks for the memories.
My wife and I really like you 2! Our RV is coming soon............ we'll watch for you 2. Noticed you drove through Vegas............That's our base camp. Thanks for your tips....... Kenny and Nancy
Also... here in Nevada we have " The Loneliest Highway" Highway 50 that runs across Nevada from California into Utah...... awesome openness......lots of places to boondock..we can't wait to travel that route a second time with our TT. Take care
Kenny A Thanks for the tip. We have spent a lot of time in that area of the country but have never traveled "the loneliest highway." We'll check it out!
+Long Long Honeymoon Be sure to take extra Gas and fill the tank. I was getting rather nervous by the time I finished driving arc NV on this road. My Ford E150 Conversion Van with a 36 gallon tank and 15+ mpg was hugging the E for my final miles to the gas station.
I've been all the way across that road ...and it sure as hell is too...like the signs say. I'll be there in 5 years if the good Lord allows it and I'm still alive...I loved it out there.!!
Wow..great video! We are going to Bar Harbor in a couple of months and I really like the schooner idea. I'm going to surprize my wife with that when we go. Thanks for the tips.
Runn Oft You will enjoy the schooner. If memory serves, they allow guests to bring aboard wine and snacks. A glass of wine makes the sunset that much better. Have fun!
Sweet New Mexico made it in the top 5! I live in Albuquerque and I love New Mexico! I am very happy to have found your channel. Excellent content and I have learned many things and I thank you! -Gigi
I was there with my daughter the year of government shut down. We where at Jackson lake lodge. We had reservations and so they let us stay but no hikes where allowed and all the pullouts had barracades! Like really😡. Over by the Mormon row they had a barricade and there where some buffalo vandalizing the baracade! People where cheering . We still had fun somehow☺️ I agree with your #1 but let’s keep it a secret🤣😂
It was shameful that they put barricades in front of the pullouts. That was an act of petty spite by the administrators - completely unnecessary and arguably dangerous to the public. Glad to hear that you made the best of an unfortunate situation. 👍
Crater lake Oregon should be a definite stop! And what about Yosemite? Not even mentioned as well as many places in Arizona and Nevada and last but not least driving highway 1 coastal highway from la to Washington state thru big sir up north thru the redwood country northern cal. And all of Colorado is worth the visit! And many more places
FYI... Bluewater Key Resort only allows large RVs (over 24 ft) and motorhomes. Apparently small RVs, truck campers, soft-sided campers, and Teardrop trailers of offends the clientele!!! I'm not bitter... LOL!!!
I want to thank you for the variety of rv parks you highlight in this video. When I watch these videosabout the best rv parks, they always pick rv resorts. These places have all types of amenities, organized activies, swimming pools, etc.... Just the type of place I'm trying to get away from. I'm looking for rv parks in a natural setting, the only amenities I care about are hook-ups, and I don't need an activities mgr. Believe me I can find my own entertainment. I do want some serenity, just a little peace and quiet... Thank you again and I wish more lists recommended rv Parks and not destination rv resorts..... after all I started rv'ing for the freedom.....
+Rory Roberts Thank you Rory! Yes, like you we are much happier in state and national parks than RV resorts. Natural settings are more our cup of tea. Safe travels!
What is sad is when you live in Central Florida and the Western USA has all the fun areas to go camping. In Florida you have to make reservations a year in advance, especially in the Keys.
I just love your videos. I am in the uk .I would love to do full time but unfortunately I don't have the money just yet to buy a RV .but your videos are very informative. .i am saving them to watch later so I can watch as often as I need . .
Thanks, we've done a bit of travel in the UK (England, Scotland, & Ireland) and look forward to returning someday. Glad our vids have been helpful. Subscribe and you won't ever miss a new one!
I know what you mean. Lately I often find myself choosing to watch UA-cam channels on TV (via streaming) instead of the usual network TV broadcasts. Thanks for watching, happy to have you in the audience. :)
Hello nice videos I am about to hand the landlord the keys and till him a few pleasant things .I work offshore and rarely every home my house have become a expensive storage locker,I have my travel trailer and going to make the leap to pay as you go living.I am scared as hell putting my whole life on wheels and not looking back wish me luck.
julien Dessout I'm about to be on my own & thought that buying a travel trailer would be a cheaper way to survive the High rental rates out here in California. EVERY ONE says why if you have a single wide trailer in Florida!! But, my family is here! And Everytime I try to move back to Florida my family always has some "drama" to drag me back to California! So.... I guess what I'm trying to get at is; in your experience, so far, are you glad, sad, remorseful, regret the decision? Please give us an update on your experience.thank you in advance (TYIA)
SoCal Gal hope you’re closer to your move. Don’t let family get in your way. Trust me, when you get older you’ll regret it. And that’s more of a bitter pill to swallow than just doing what you want.

AFFILIATE LINK DISCLOSURE: Friends, making a quality Loloho video is kind of like making sausage - only slightly more violent. One saving grace is our affiliate links. JUST CLICKING THESE LINKS HELPS TO SUPPORT OUR LITTLE SHOW. Think of this clicking as like tipping - except that it doesn't cost you anything extra! If you eventually make a purchase via one of our affiliate links, we will receive a few pennies (and Sean typically invests these pennies in duct tape and video gear). Again, it doesn't cost you anything to click these links, and it's a great help to us. As always, safe travels, happy camping, and THANK YOU!

Antonio, the 18 wheeler
Antonio, the 18 w
Thank you.
+Rev K Thanks for your comment, glad to help in some small way! 👍😄
Love your channel...I'm 78 and getting ready to hit the road again.. Did a lot of raving in my earlier years. Miss it a bunch, so going to hit it for 8 to 9 months a year. Have 35 ft
Cougar and a Ford crew cab.
Thank you.👍
Good evening,
I really have to agree: Teton and Yellowstone are the best places on earth - we visited in 2012, all the way from Montreal Canada, and we really had a great time!
I took notes on every place you mentioned. You two are a wealth of entertaining and inspiring information. Thank you!
Santa Fa NM, love it the arts scene, food, farmers markets and scenic railroad.
Now, I go Friday to pick up my 28 ft camper and can't wait to get on the road!
wwright0030 congrats!!! You will love life on the road 👍😄
I love your show I am a disabled vet cant get out much so when I watch you show I feel like I am there with you thanks again keep up the good work
Thanks for your comment (and for your service to our country)! Good to know people like you are out there watching... :-)
Thanks for the comments! Yes, we could live in Wyoming too -- a great state!
Thank you guys for the inspiration! We are selling our home and hitting the road this Fall! Keep up the great work you're doing!
Connie Pate thanks! We saw Donna and Jeff today!
We love Maine and look forward to returning someday. Can't beat those fresh lobster rolls!
Hi Sean and Christie,
Thanks for the tip.
Thanks for the reply.....good to hear back from you. Keep up the good work.
I grew up in Kelly beautiful place to watch the sun go down. Hope you got a chance to swim in the warm springs on the highway
Yay ! Going to Santa fe and Grand Teton this August. Booked into gross ventre for 4 nights too !!! Yes that's right you can reserve now.
I still remember seeing a goat standing on an incredibly small rock on the side of a sheer cliff, looking at me as if to say "Are you guys in from the coast?"
I loved that trip- it's why I still go there, in dreams.
Thanks for the recommendations! Much appreciated.
Thanks! I think we may focus on boondocking / no hookup camping next - it's a big topic.
I live in Albuquerque. Was glad to hear you liked the Santa Fe area to camp in. Wish I could go up to Alaska.
+F Brewer Thanks for your post! Glad you enjoyed Gros Ventre. 👍
Yeah Jackson and the Tetons are as picturesque as they get. Winters are bitter and still beautiful
I can watch you guys for hours everyday.
Loved the segment on Bar Harbor. Traveled all the way here from Indianapolis, Indiana and currently sitting in the Thirsty Whale drinking a Blueberry Ale in your honor.
Wow! We are jealous! Hope you are having a great time -- cheers to you!
Thanks David, we will be back in Gros Ventre this fall. Can't wait!! 👍
Just now seeing this video and we are going to Yellowstone starting Saturday! (Will take a week just to drive there!) We are beyond excited!
I vote #1 to be Glacier NP. But keep it a secret, it's not crowded. Stunning.
When you go to Jackson, a must stop is the "National Museum of Wildlife Art", just north of town. So beautiful. Great local food.
Hey There - West Quoddy Head, ME
Is indeed the eastern most point in America.
We have done the UP of Michigan but not the top of Lake Superior. It's definitely beautiful and unique country.
This is my favorite video you guys have made. We are crazy about you guys, and I really hope our paths cross someday!
Thanks Sandi, LOVE your profile pic! Looks like a happy dog. :D
Thank you.
Life of Riley Thanks for your post. Being debt free is a great way to go! Best of luck to you. New vid coming soon.
Thanks. We have camped in three of the five. This summer we plan on Key West. Were not able to go to Haines when we drove to Alaska - maybe next time.
See your Videos from Germany ! Great Compliments! In June 2017 we visited Jackson, Great Teton and Yellowstone. You gave us the Information we've needed! Best Wishes Rolf
Thank you Rolf! I'm glad our video was helpful to you, and hope you had a wonderful visit!
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll be shopping around soon for an airstream need one big enough for 2 adults 2 kids and 2 dogs.
Fun stuff. Hope to get *out there* some day. Not sure where that might be, but we'll have to scope out the RV situation first.
THANK YOU!!
Love your post the Bothan Taistil has been to all of them and I would agree. We found lots of great place when we took our RV to Europe
Bob
I must say you folks are the best wealth of information about many of the places I have been longing to visit. I have replayed this particular vlog 3 times looking at my map as you talk. Thank you so very much!!!!
Good video. I have been to Key West as a kid with my father, but I still have many places in the U.S. I have to see.
I had a peanut butter & banana sandwich while watching this. It was really good. The sandwich was good too. Thank you, thank you very much.
You know, Elvis liked to FRY his PB&B sandwiches -- this makes our videos seem even better!
I did not know that! He should have made a how to video.
Haha!!! I ran and made me a peanut butter sandwich while watching this also. Must be an epidemic!!!! (couldn't find a banana).
Wish you all well love you guys particularly wish Sean well w/health issues will be praying for you I know THE healer He loves you beyond imagination.
haha thanks much for your comments... i think you are the first person to catch that joke! :D

First time viewer. Enjoyed it very much. I will have to look at some of your others. Thanks
-Gigi
Was wondering if you were going to mention my back yard! We LOVE to camp at GTNP ... about 4 - 6 weeks every summer
I would suggest going to Bar Harbor in the off season......way too crowded in the middle of the summer.
You are right on about camping at Blue Water key Resort we have stayed there a few times its costly but worth the splurge
it is a splurge... it was literally our wedding trip so we went for it.... but not something we'd do very frequently (alas!) :)
Guy's, I didn't know where you would take your vid's next but this was great, please continue. I don't know about the loloho thing though, LOL
Thanks! Ha, I know what you mean about Loloho... Give it a chance and maybe it'll grow on ya...
I love Maine! and blueberry beer! 😉 you need to visit Ogunquit... Marginal Way is unbelievably beautiful
My brother lived in Ketchikan and on Prince of Wales Island. He said Alaska was the most beautiful place he'd ever been in the states.
If you are lumping Yellowstone and Grand Teton you should add Glacier NP
Grand Teton and Yellowstone are right next to each other and connected. Glacier is about 6 hours north from there
Wish you guys had more experiences to share from the East Coast.
I just love the LOLOHO channel!
Thanks for your comment! Positive energy is always appreciated. More good stuff on the way...
It's so refreshing to see REAL people doing what they love! Not actors! :)
I know what you mean. Lately I often find myself choosing to watch UA-cam channels on TV (via streaming) instead of the usual network TV broadcasts. Thanks for watching, happy to have you in the audience. :)
Happy to be here mate!
Best wishes from Australia! :)
Ever been to Roosevelt Badlands National Park? That's my number one place to camp!
America’s day doesn’t begin in Maine, it begins on the Island of Guam, in the Marianas. I know, I lived there for two years as a kid.
Think of all the property taxes you won't be paying . 👍 It's a bold move but works great for many people. Good luck to you.
julien Dessout - Did you make the change to your trailer? How is it going?
I love you guys! Down to earth, informative and so pleasant. Keep posting 😎
julien Dessout I'm about to be on my own & thought that buying a travel trailer would be a cheaper way to survive the High rental rates out here in California.
