MBB E Bike Racks - Installation

This is a quick video to show you how to install your MBB E-Bike Rack from Moved By Bikes.
MBB Surfboard Racks feature our patented quick release bars for instant removal when not in use. This E-Bike kit has been configured specifically for bikes with M6 mounting bosses at the front of the frame, like you see here. If your bike doesn’t have these bosses on the front, tapped for M6x1 mm metric thread, then you should look at our Longboard Racks. Alternatively, our Shortboard Racks are a great option if you just want to carry Shortboards, and our Moped Racks are a great match for installing on tubular cargo racks.
This kit puts one bar at the front of the bike, and the other on a rear rack.
The rear rack may be part of the frame, or a bolt on accessory. With the bars spaced out in this way, the rack is very stable with long boards, but they are still close enough together to work with most shortboards.
As a general rule we always recommend putting common stainless steel anti-seize compound on all the hardware. This will prevent hardware galling which is common with stainless nuts and bolts and insure that you can remove the rack later if desired.
If you have brake and shift lines, make sure that you have free rotation of the handlebar after installation. You may need to tie the cables up with a zip tie or strap to ensure free rotation
To install the bars in the frame mounts simply align the spline features and slide the bars in until they click into place.
