For a first time ruiser... all of this will help me a LOOOOOOOOOOOOT. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
love ur voice. Sounds patient and reasonable. Will be on board for the first time on Feb, 2024. Cannot wait! Thks for ur tips
@@penghuang5267 Thanks! You’re gonna have a blast. I might be onboard as well. I have a room on the Virgin Voyages cruise at the end of February. And I’m on a waiting list for the big cruise on Allure of the seas early February. Maybe I’ll see ya onboard 🙂.
@@Viera95 For sure? Firstly, I correct myself, i was speaking of feb, 2025, for 35th anniversary Atlantis, hahaha. You were not the first one telling me on a waiting list but to be honest I just bought ticket 2 weeks before. How come? Are you waiting for some special type of room? because Ocean View Balcony Stateroom is still available.
@ I thought it was sold out. I’ll have to look at the website again. My husband is the one who books most of our trips so I haven’t looked myself yet. I was on the 30th anniversary cruise and it was a great time so I’m sure the 35th anniversary will be even better!
@@Viera95 Yes, I agree. It must be a lot of fun! Check it out. What I am sure of is that there are just very few available. Good luck and hope to meet u on board. Btw, you look so cute❤
I'm looking to take my first gay cruise. In unsure which company I should go with.
This is a topic I’m planning to cover in another video soon! It’s tough to compare because different cruise itineraries, even from the same company, can have totally different vibes. For example, Atlantis’ January “Big Cruise” is definitely a wilder party than any of their other trips during the year.
My husband and I have cruised with both Atlantis and Vacaya, and here’s a very general comparison based on our experience:
• Atlantis is usually more affordable and has a big party atmosphere, with almost all passengers being gay men.
• Vacaya goes to more exotic places and sells itself as a luxury experience, which is why it tends to be more expensive. Their cruises are more about the destinations, with less focus on partying. The crowd is usually a bit older, and you see more diversity across the LGBTQ+ spectrum.
Both companies have amazing parties, entertainment, and super welcoming atmospheres. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with either! (This is a very abbreviated explanation there is definitely a lot more nuance but too much for a comment. Hope this helps 😊)
Thank you for the info. I am rather nervous about taking a gay cruise
But I would like to go so I can meet some like minded individuals. I was thinking of the vacaya cruise to Alaska but it was sold out. So.i.guess these cruises are popular
I’ve never been on any cruise but out of all these “tips” the only useful one was about alcohol 😂
