I would say that when using the artstyle thats has been chosen. Considering the vast amount of pokémons and their impact. I bet its almost impossible to create a unique character that doesn't share some kind of resemblence. not always because they look similar, but because the artstyle is deeply connected to the pokémon franchise.
"I think of Vulpix right away." I think of another fox Pokemon when I see Foxsparks, although I can't think of the name of it right off hand. I do remember, in the anime, that a group of them befriended a Scorbunny. I don't know why Poke fans keep saying Vulpix. I thought they knew all their Pokes. As for mascots, that could be debatable. I don't think that they officially have one, since there are so many Pals that could fit that role. I think that Chillet and Depresso has a tie in that main lead.
What I like about the Pal designs is they look they could be from 1st to 3rd gen but that´s just our western minds. Saw a video of a japanese couple and the woman was suppose to tell Pal or Pokemon and quite quickly got a hang of it. She discribed the Pal designs as Pokemon with a touch of Digimon design, wasn´t that easy though since it looked like her boyfriend was showing redraws of both and not real images and some details from the real animations are lost in that.

It was satisfying to click on the like button and see it go from 999 to 1k
See the problem here is that Pokemon itself doesn't have very original designs. It's the kind of stuff a kid doodling in a notebook at school would come up with a lot of the time. I'm sorry but "what if rat, but electric colors" is not even close to original or innovative. Pokemon's designs are so childishly basic that its nearly impossible to not "copy" them in some way. If Pikachu pulled out an MP7 I might take the copying thing more seriously, but I'm pretty sure I missed that episode if it ever happened.
6:40 What's that song called?
I know it's from Pokemon and sounds like a battle theme but that's all I know.
Also what's playing around 35 to 40 minute mark.
EDIT: Scratch that....all music name timestamps plz.
The music in this video is the glitchxcity battle remix. Definitely recommend.
@@ColePlaysGames Thx a million.
16:07 that kids gonna get bullied 😂😂😂
warsect is CLEARLY A DIGIMON not a pokemon. KABUTERIMON
this channel is way too underrated (keep up the good vids!)
Thank you!
im a pokemon fan myself. i see NOTHING stolen and i play this game constantly. palworld is literally something nintendo was just too stuck up to do themselves. its why pokemon faded and became a laugh after all these years.
sorry nintendo, someone just did pokemon better than you. deal with it. its what you get for refusing to do it yourselves.
Did he say grizzbolt is too pikachu???? That's a stretch lol he's a damn beefcake....lol do yourselves a favor play the game, there's no regrets, especially if you like monster catching games plus survival, there's so many laughs to be had
Haha yeah we’ve played since day one, the reason we compared Grizzbolt to Pikachu is because Grizzbolt could be considered the mascot of the game.
Even after the 160 hours of playtime I’ve put in, I would still compare them haha
@ColePlaysGames you crazy haha color wise yeah but he has like a gangar facial expression, game is stupid fun though, me and some friends had to start over like 3 times due to the world save curropt thingy but never made me super upset each time was easier to get where we were and just as enjoyable cannot wait to see what comes next lol
its more ark than pokemon lol. the characters just have that art design. some are very close, ill admit but some of the reaches people are taking with some are just that a reach.
Kingpaca reminds of king Dededee I think that's the reference
Pokemon failed lol I love a low budget studio out smarting pokemon
It's called an indie company not a low budget studio
And try compare Pokemon from dragon quest.
they;re not being sued for copyright. Pokemon itself has DECADES of ripping off other monster-catcher games to try that! They're trying a troll patent--- claiming ownership of the "ball capture" game mechanism. Which most of the experts is going to fail just as badly, because it was apparently filed far too late....
I would say that when using the artstyle thats has been chosen. Considering the vast amount of pokémons and their impact. I bet its almost impossible to create a unique character that doesn't share some kind of resemblence. not always because they look similar, but because the artstyle is deeply connected to the pokémon franchise.
that anubis is freaking 40 somthing now
"I think of Vulpix right away."
I think of another fox Pokemon when I see Foxsparks, although I can't think of the name of it right off hand.
She discribed the Pal designs as Pokemon with a touch of Digimon design, wasn´t that easy though since it looked like her boyfriend was showing redraws of both and not real images and some details from the real animations are lost in that.
the pals can die die if you overwork them in your base.
are all pokemon fans like this a fire fox will always look like vulpix and etc like jolthog looks like shaymin just like every other hedhog in a pokemon game and etc
Nope, just the fanboys that always come out of the woodwork every time something has creature taming mechanics and becomes a bit popular.
yea palworld said f pokemon and posted of whats coming next@@mikaruyami
14:29 😂
grizzbolt looks more like electabuzz than pikachu to me
You're just saying regular animals with the same concept of a Pokémon that Pokémon. Vulpix and Foxparks are fire foxes, of course they'll look similar.
Pokemon are copied from digimon
Foxsparks looks like a fennekin but darker
Gotta say my opinion of palworld - It is definitely a rep off of pokemon or should i say it was inspired by pokemon and was created base on combination of ideas from pokemon but no hate its good they made it abit different from just catching it with the casual regular nice game both palworld and pokemon.
i think its pronounced as Aik-thee-deer. perhaps?

So biased
Pokemon is SO fu***ng done. It need a Pokemon 2 desperately. The combat mechanics are a** and need a next gen upgrade and remake of the whole roster of bloated/ugly/unimaginable pokemon xD
