This definitely needs to be updated as several of the actors featured have since passed away. Fun Fact : Mark Hamill had a voice role in The Guyver, which I think came out several years later...the main character would periodically change into this sorta superhuman being known a the Guyver...whenever the hero morphed into this being, Hamill provided the voice.
At least the vid provided info about some of the work each actor was known for (in the 70s), which is more than you can say about a lot of the "Then & Now" vids out there on YT.
It seems to me that the actor list (under the vid) would be a lot more useful if it listed the actors in the order that they appeared in the vid, not by country--e.g., Malcolm McDowell should be first, followed by Jack Nicholson. (Especially since their nationalities are shown in the vid itself anyway.) That way, if you wanted to quickly see the pics of, say, Ian Holm or Donald Sutherland in the vid, it would be easier to find them! ...Having said all that, the amount of info about each actor provided in the vid itself is appreciated--helps to jog one's memory!
Siddig El Fadil. He did play Feisal in the movie "A Dangerous Man:Lawrence After Arabia" prior to being on DS9. If fact, the Feisal role got Sid the DS9 role because Rick Berman saw Sid in this movie and wanted him-FOR THE ROLE AS THE COMMANDER OF DS9! But when Sid showed up in L.A. clean-shaven, Berman realized how young Sid actually was and cast Sid as the doctor instead.
Easily, most of these stars would fit into "The Night Of The Living Dead, part 3" and the studio could save millions not needing make-up artists or supplies
Vid publisher is characterizing the nationalities of the actors the same way virtually everyone else does it. Those outside the US typically refer to people from the US as "Americans", people from the United Kingdom/Great Britain are typically referred to as "British" (and/or "English" if they're actually from England), etc. It doesn't all make perfect sense, but it is what it is.
Let us present 36 iconic actors who became famous during the 70's. What do they look like nowadays ? Enjoy...
Jon Voight is incredible in Ray Donovan. What an actor. Love him.
good tv show! and yes, Voight is terrific!
One of the best actors!
Randy Quaid before and after. Wow. Impressive.
he went a little crazy... kind of pretty much became a real life version of cousin eddie
So many great movies from the 70's.
The best movies with the best actor generation, I think.
Incredible decade. Incredible actors. I love the 70's!
Burt Reynolds RIP
Nice collection of solid actors. A great decade for movies!
Most of them are still so charismatic!
OK, that's a pretty good cast. Let's make a movie with all of them now!
Wow, this movie will be awesome but expensive. Very expensive. lol
want it!
With all these old geezers, the movie would probably have to set in a retirement home, LOL
Great actors

that was a real ride loved it "MINT"
What a cast!
Mark Hamill looks more and more like Yoda everyday.
Oooo Al Pacino is still good looking!!!! 🤭
Nice video
The years for all of us went by so FAST😓
Did i miss Paul Newman? He was on there right?
I don't see his name in the list, which appears in the notes section under the vid.
Need to update this list
Redford and Travolta and their ridiculous wigs.
You included Silent Movie for Mel Brooks instead of arguably his masterpiece, Young Frankenstein? (1974)
Harpie84 it's pronounced "Fonkensteen"

Wow, I had no idea Burt Young was still with us. I like him in the Rocky movies, it's too bad they killed off his character by the Creed spinoffs.
You forgot to list "Paper Moon" for Ryan O'Neal

I'm sad to say that some of those actors are gone, dead and buried. Burt Reynolds is one of them.

Fun fact: McDowell is also the maternal uncle of DS9 star ALEXANDER SIDDIG!
Nancy O'Malley Wasn't he born in Iran? I liked him in "ST: DS9'. He used to be married to Nana Visitor.
No, Sudan. His father was Sudanese. His Mother was British-AND Malcolm McDowell's sister! (hence 'maternal uncle'-uncle on mum's side of the family)
Nancy O'Malley Thank you. His former name,I think, was Siddig Al Faisal.

Michael York wuold never have recognized him now. He is dead but the older one better put off Fred Astaire
You'd list for each is missing some great movies
They only list movies (probably not all) that each actor did in the decade of the 70s, FWIW.
Hey Thats not Michael York.
I know, huh. He used to be so gorgeous...!
According to another commenter (under a different Then/Now-type vid), York has one or more serious diseases that have greatly affected him. :(
What about Chevy Chase
What movie(s) did Chevy Chase do in the 70s? First movie I remember him from is Caddyshack, which wasn't till 1980.
Some you wouldn't recgonise
If you call USA-ers: American, you should Canadians ALSO call: American, and of course Englishmen: European!!
