Dr Goodall, I just finished a conservation class in university and wrote a report on your book. I am inspired by your story. My main takeaway is that chimps are very similar to us in our inhumanity, and that perhaps we can differentiate ourselves from other species as the only species capable of taking up the mantle of peace on earth. Us “knowing better” is so important to what makes us special I believe. Thank you for pushing humanity to know even better.
