When Baylen is talking to Sabine I can still hear Gar Saxon. Ray Stevenson did such a masterful job with both characters.
Now I feel even sadder about him passing having just learned this. I had no idea and Gar was a pretty cool villain.
Did anyone else notice that Ahsoka‘s face looked more like it did in the cartoon when she heard Anakins voice and realized it was him? The stoic stare was gone and the wide eyed padawan face returned.

Good point also I think this is how Ahsoka goes from being Ahsoka The Grey to Ahsoka The White cause almost the same thing happened to Gandalf and Filoni and Rosario Dawson compared her to Gandalf
ohhhhh I like that theory. Maybe as part of a way to redeem himself to her, since she would only know about his redemption from Luke. If we know anything about Ahsoka, it's that she's as stubborn as Anakin. She'd want nothing to do with the monster he became after the Dark Side took over him. He would have to do a lot to redeem himself in her eyes I think. I wonder how that conversation is gonna play out.
Is this not Vader who pulled her though? It's Vader's saber and also it ended with the title "Vader's theme".

The Daughter is with Ahsoka. Technically, Ahsoka cannot die.
It says a lot that Ray Stevenson is able to command a scene through body language alone - palpable charisma in each scene. Such a tragic loss.
The episode “fallen jedi” takes on so many meanings literal and figuratively. But I think it’s main purpose is on the true fallen Jedi. Anakin Skywalker. Who doesn’t hold his saber but instead Darth vaders
The lightsaber looks like Anakin’s and it’s definitely not Vader’s.

it's the same one as episode 3 @@joshbourne9679 but the lighting is just dark, he usually wears the saber a bit further over. Look lower on the hilt, thats a touch of red/bronze from the front button of that very hilt
@@SpiderWalker3427 Interestingly, it seems to be neither. Anakin's ep3 lightsaber and Darth Vader's share the same bottom grip of the black ridges over the metal cylinder. After that, Anakin's is metallic along the rest of the body. Whereas Vader's has some exposed metal after the ridges, a black band, and then another length of exposed metal between the band and the emitter guard, and the emitter guard is black. The lightsaber in this episode has the bottom grip, metallic band, and metallic emitter guard like Anakin's, but then between the band and the emitter guard is black, which neither lightsaber has.
The framing of the shot where Balon strikes Ahsoka and she falls is straight out of Empire. You can almost hear Vaders "All too easy" afterward

we can see that he can throw hands, I want to see him in a lightsaber fight against Shin. probably get beat because he doesn't have the Force, but saber to saber he will decimate her.

Your forgetting that Ahsoka as a part of "The Daughter" within her, that's why she could pass into the World Between Worlds without using an access portal.
The dramatic pauses intensify in this episode, with lightsaber battles and "anxious" music to go along with the Star Wars theatrics and pageantry. Feels like a slow burn.

Ashoka told Ezra that he couldn't use the WBW to save his Master so she will have to take her own medicine and not use the WBW to save Anakin/Vader. That's not how it works.
I think when she returns, they should use Carson Teva to contact a certain Mandalorian contractor who has a little green force-sensitive Mando-in-training who has a way with connecting with animals - just like what Ezra had - and use that connection to bond with a spacewhale who knows the migration route to the other galaxy.
In the discussion for either a trailer or one of the first episodes, someone made the comment that we just needed Force Ghost Anakin to go "Hello, Ahsoka" and my simple reply was "Nah, 'Hey, Snips'" and then it was said and I'm over here fist pumping "Ha! I got the words right!"

Dude no. She literally told Sabine to destroy it when she saw that Sabine was alive and had the map. She just put the ENTIRE galaxy (and probably the one that Thrawn is stuck in) at risk for Ezra (sure he is like family and bla bla bla) but for 1) Ezra did NOT want them to come looking for him. 2) Would you not be pissed if you were under imperial control because one child couldn't listen to an adult and learn to let go?

Some of the best duals in the Disney era. I laughed so hard at the marrok reveal because of all of the speculation but next week is directed by Dave himself so it’s about to be peak. I’m guessing why anakin is there is because he’s the guardian of WBW and he probably did Ahsoka a favor, with probably some Ahsoka the grey transitioning to Ahsoka the white.
Marrok ended up being an inquisitor's specter as we've seen that type of magic before in the Clone Wars and Fallen Order.
Seeing Anakin and the world between worlds was a surprise for sure but a more than welcome one (^_^ )
R.I.P. to Sabine's family who didn't survive the siege of Mandalor.

As soon as i saw her wake up and saw the shimmering around her i immediately jumped up from laying down and thought is this the world between worlds that Ezra entered during that episode of rebals with maul on that underground temple!! 😊
It is the world between worlds, but it wasn't with maul that Ezra accessed it he got in their in the second last episode of s4

Watching the last one and more in this episode I noticed Shin never blinks.
Honestly probably my favorite episode yet.
Now that the World Between Worlds has made a reappearance, I am hoping against all odds that Emperor Palpatine makes an appearance again. Not just because he would most likely be manipulating this whole Thrawn business from the shadows (just as he is doing with the Shadow Council and the future First Order), but because if anyone has an interest in the World Between Worlds, it's Darth Sidious. As Star Wars Rebels showed. Sidious later records in the canon book *_"Secrets of the Sith"_* his vow to continue pursuing this power.
Control of the World Between Worlds (and thus control over all of existence itself) is Darth Sidious's ultimate goal, and as Ahsoka appears to have proven at the end of this episode, there is more than one way to gain access to it. And with the Emperor making clear his intentions to continue pursuing the power of the World Between Worlds in "Secrets of the Sith", I would love to see Star Wars's ultimate villain make at least one more attempt at it in whatever this next big story event/phase in the Star Wars universe is.

I bet Sabine is turning to the dark side, she's so attached to Ezra, she has a tremendous fear of never seeing him again. Remember wise MASTER Yoda's teachings, specially what he said to Anakin:

This is the episode that finally woke me up. I'm now hooked. Fallen Jedi, literally the keyword is fallen. Ahsoka is in The World Between Worlds. It's a plane where the living and the dead from any time period can interact with each other.
Josh from The Den of Nerds said this. His sources are reliable. He even said 2 days ago that Marrok was made of smoke perhaps created by Morgan's witchcraft. Fans were trying to dissect who he was when I thought he was just a nothing character and he literally was a nothing character 🚭.
I thought for a moment Shin was going to die but I'm glad she didn't and listened to her master. I think if Ahsoka fought Shin, then Shin would've died for sure. Shin is not on Ahsoka's level in fighting. Ahsoka burned her left hand. She was forced to fight with her right but got overpowered by Baylan.
I'm glad that Hyper Ring escaped. I want them to go to this new galaxy. I didn't want Hera and her crew to intervene. I think once we see Thrawn, the stakes goes way higher. Thrawn is like replacing Palpatine and Vader as the new big baddie.
Ahsoka S1E4: Best episode so far! I just realized it's only 38 minutes long. I wish it was 20 minutes longer. I'm hearing from Josh that Episode 5 is going to break the Internet.
All these naysayers saying Ahsoka sucks and it's boring are going to get really quiet 🤫 by next week. It started slow, so what? It's going to get much better in the 2nd half.
Obviously, Ahsoka is not dead. Josh from The Den of Nerds said 2 days ago she's going through a near-death experience and she's in the World Between Worlds.
Sabine was pretty badass here with her Mandalorian gear. Of course, she's not a Force wielder, so she couldn't do what Shin can do to her making her fly across the forest and hitting trees. I wanted Sabine to give the coordinates back to Baylan. If she didn't, then the story doesn't progress. She'll never see Ezra ever again.
I actually trust Baylan's word. I believe he will protect her from Morgan. Sabine gets to see Ezra again but that price is Thrawn waging war. From a story standpoint, Sabine had to succumb to Baylan.
Baylan is becoming the best character in this series so far. Now I don't expect him to live passed this season with Ray gone but he's a very interesting character. He's really not good or bad. I'm still trying to figure out his motivations.
Love seeing Huyang get into a fight. When Sabine was talking Ahsoka, I kept saying, "Gear up, girls. Gear up. Your enemies are coming." I thought Ahsoka did a badass move when she shifted one of the baddies in front of another baddie and gets shot in the back. Then when she sliced Marrok.
I thought Ahsoka won her duel with Baylan. Rewatch it. She kicks Baylan thrice and the third kick got him to fall to the ground. Then she grabs the map and burns her left hand. Then when Shin returns, Ahsoka lost focus assuming Sabine was dead.
I think had Ahsoka not burn her left hand (she should've used the Force or her lightsaber to move it), she wouldn't have fallen off the cliff. But Baylan's swings hits hard. It's like a Mike Tyson uppercut. Baylan is throwing haymakers.
The de-aged Hayden doesn't really bother me. People were whining last year about Obi-Wan Kenobi that he wasn't de-aged. Now they're whining he is de-aged. Nobody is ever happy. Episode 4 was fire. Will rewatch it twice tomorrow. And we will get an even better episode next week.
I think Baylan is being played by the night sister (who i fully expect to try and stab him in the back once his usefulness comes to an end) but the character seems too switched on to have not noticed that himself. I suspect that he is actually playing her to get what he wants and she has no idea
They better keep Shin alive for me 😢
It was the Rodian and Peter Ramsey that died when the hyper ring took off. Carson Teva, Hera, Jacen, and Lander (Brendan Wayne) survived.
I'm pretty sure Ahsoka just died and discovered she has a respawn point. The world Between Worlds appears to be a Nexus of the cosmic Force and since Asoka is currently the living embodiment of the light side of the force she gets sent there any time she would die. And I assume Anakin can appear solid there because he's in the cosmic Force however with Vader's theme playing he might turn into Vader again to test her or even creepier it's actually the Son
